The API is being by the app but also a few other devs are using it on smaller HN clients/pet projects.

Thanks. Good feedback. Re: store/delete SD card: I need storage for image caching and also for the Save feature. You can save stories and then read later. Definitely will add preferences- good idea

What device are you using?

Thinking about it. I'd like to see where this app will go. As a true geek I use Android so I sort of built the app for myself since there's anything good out there to read HN natively on the phone

Use my own: http://hndroidapi.appspot.com . I was considering using api.ihackernews.com , which looks really good, but I wasn't sure how stable and reliable the service is so I created my own on appengine
