Here is a similar question from a few months ago, which resulted in a pretty great list of blogs and twitters:
HN user

Hello, I'm Grant. I'm a full-stack developer with a preference for Python and PostgreSQL.
Contact by $HNusername at Google's mail service.
[ my public key: https://keybase.io/grantkelly; my proof: https://keybase.io/grantkelly/sigs/9oVv0Rdy4qGxTjkCK6sUVKtMZ_YKcB7Q5cAUTwqeLNs ]
I use Makefiles that run "git push $branch" and then call a Jenkins API to start a build/deploy of that $branch. This way I never have to leave vim; I use the fugitive plugin for vim to "git add" and "git commit", then run ":make".
also maybe look at https://nodesecurity.io/
I really like ack over grep, and there's a vim plugin too.
A twitter bot for HN, but stories are delayed for 24 hours and then must meet a score threshold. I use it to catch up on news after a few days away from the internet. Bot is hosted on Google within the free quota! I plan to post the source to github eventually...

I'm a fan of nttcp, although it's not based on ping.
The official PostgreSQL Documentation gives a good start, as well as explaining the many considerations involved in scaling.

Email: My HN username at gmail.I'm not a volunteer observer, but I am the lead developer on the web app they now use to enter the observation data. The app is a result of the 'paperless' initiative the NWS (and NCDC) has. The person on the other end of his phone call is probably using this web app I work on.
Where I work (state government in the US), I accrue 2 vacation days per month. I have about 30 days in the bank. I'm going to take the next six months and travel the world with my wife, while working remotely. I am going to work at 50% of full-time and use my vacation days so I only work about 40 hours per month. My wife and I saved money, vacation days, and credit card points for about 2 years for this trip.
I think the work from http://nusi.org/ could be promising.

Contact by email in profile. The article mentioned he works in a "test lab", so does that mean all of this storage hardware came from the lab after being tested? Otherwise, this is quite an expensive hobby to purchase and run this hardware for home use.

I'm currently using tastypie, but will consider Django REST Framework in the future, based purely on the fact that this is a new release and has a deprecation policy. tastypie is still only a pre-1.0 beta. A better evaluation is certainly needed though.
I don't think it's swinging back, but I would like to hear his reasons for claiming it is.
Well there's this, recently on HN:

Nice work. Keep it up. As long as you're eating enough nutrients, your body will adjust to a healthy weight. Like others have said, try adding more healthy fats to your diet. They will help provide energy as well as satiety. What you're doing is sustainable. Visit marksdailyapple.com to see how thousands of others live like this.
Fats are a slower source of energy, but not less efficient. At 9 calories per gram vs 4 for carbs, it's no wonder that our bodies choose to store fat as a fuel reserve. Yes, carbs are also stored, but only a very small amount that can be diminished quickly.
Also, there is a difference between your goals and the goals of the OP. He clearly wants to lose weight while you sound content with maintaining. He could certainly transition to a less strict diet once his goals are met.
Paleo is different from Atkins in the area of food quality. Paleo stresses the importance of quality foods where Atkins originally ignored it.
Perhaps because it's fairly easy to type on a number pad?
How does this compare to dotcloud?
