That's really good advice Michael, thanks a lot :) We actually have a prototype, but maybe we should focus a little bit more on that and start with branding later on the process.

Do you, being involved in branding, have any advise (book recommendations, blogs, etc).

Thanks a lot for your input!

I'm talking about something like Twitter, in which the product and the company share the same brand.

That's a really good question, I think I'm talking about the whole brand, including the name and marketing.

Thanks for the link :)

It seems that you're starting to build a really powerful tool. Let me recommend changing the position of some elements. For example: - I would put Followers, Following, Listed & #Tweets in the sidebar, that's because those numbers don't change so often. - I would also remove the time of day in the page. I think is an overkill.

Hope that helps :) Germán

That's a great list, right now I' trying Avant Window Navigator, I'll just add Exaile! for music, Geany and Bluefish editors for coding and of course The Gimp.

Creating polls should not cost Karma.

For me a poll may be a replacement for some of the Ask YC threads.

I like the way it is now but for those who are worried about karma ¿? maybe the best solution is not getting karma for submitting a Poll, of course that would need a better place to search for polls, should YC add a poll link to the navigation menu?

It's an interesting question, I could say Gmail or Twitter but it only makes me happy when I receive an interesting Email or IM, so in that case is not a bout the software but the people.

The only software that makes me happier are music players (Exaile, Amarok, etc) because they let me hear the music that I love in my PC.
