I'm sorry, but... now that we are speaking about Spotify... can we get Airplay 2 PLEASE? It's been so long since they said they were working on it...

I haven’t
I haven’t.
The article offers you the choice to keep mindlessly browsing. What we have now it's not really an option. This would be like nutritional warnings for apps.
Website is unmaintained, check the Github repo for the lastest version.
I don't get it. Are we going to use 20 year old computers in the future? Is Netscape 2.0 the only browser we will only have?
Even if we want to support 100% of users and don't think about economics I really doubt there's going to be someone with Netscape 2.0 visiting your website nowadays.
You didn't even read the introduction.
In this paper, we raise design issues and present recommendations; for clarity we say “never” for design choices that are inappropriate for dependable or safety-critical applications. For novelty and other non-dependable applications, obviously examination of cost and design trade-offs may lead to other decisions, and such decisions should be backed by competent empirical evaluation.
I cannot choose another language, some weird css/html issue happens that hides all other fields. Looks like an overflow:hidden hides the possible selections.
Not even the government uses backups... crazy. Imagine other issues like privacy, I do not expect them to be compliant. They do not look to be that different than an average citizen at least in IT terms.
I thought the same... 'Let's make sure the maps we know and love' gets remade by me and you guys come to my version because I won't give the repo code url.
You're not a fan but it works for you. Hope you don't find yourself in a bad economic situation.
Also. Is it better to have the best medical care (if it's true) for some or a great system for everyone?
As a Spaniard (maybe even European) I'm astonished every time I see one of these news. I can't even understand it. I'm so happy I live where I live.
Sadly, I can't update because of problems with system update.
It's saddening how fruits have lost its flavour. I'm thrilled to eat fruits/vegetables every time I go back to my grandfather town.
I don't know what it is... mass production? Tomatoes bought in the city do not even taste good in season (like now). We now have bigger and tasteless fruits. Why? I want to enjoy eating, I don't care if it's 25% smaller. Now they try to fool us with more colourful pulp or exterior... but taste the same.
I guess it takes more time to grow them if we want them to have taste. Orchards in my grandfather's town are not even irrigated (or much less, because it's dry weather) and they taste amazing.
This only helps hyperpalatable and unhealthy foods to gain strength between young people.
"That rust can be regenerated straight back into iron powder with the application of electricity, and if you do this using solar, wind or other zero-carbon power generation systems, you end up with a totally carbon-free cycle."
Making solar panels is not carbon free. Making batteries instead of emitting gases is not carbon free. We still have to recycle those panels and those batteries and take in account the impact of it.
I feel like we are changing the place where gases are emitted or residues stored instead of making less cars, consuming less in general, etc.
Honestly, we all know the reason there's sugar. It's cheap, it's tasty and provokes addiction so I'm pretty happy they don't get the tax cut from other denominations. These foods are not healthy anyway, so the more expensive they are, the less they are consumed.
We are going to a world of very big corporations dominating the industries. Market tendency is to concentrate capital. And I'm not sure this is a good thing.
It’s always the same. Information and packaging. If you don’t know which labels and exactly which denominations to look for you may be eating something that’s not exactly what you expect. And that’s sad because it affects the reputation of great products with a long history and dedication. But that happens also even in the country of origin. There are various types of Ham in Spain, some people have only tried the ‘worst’ (compared to the best) and don’t know which is the denomination of the best (100% iberian, black tag). Maybe you’ve tasted the lowest category one and you don’t like it but you can love the higher-end ones, the difference is quite big. Also, there’s olive oil sold as Italian, that comes from Spain. But it seems like Italians are the only ones that produce it. There are articles about edulterated parmesan being sold in USA where they even found wood, there’s a whole mafia about that. All that while there’s great products being made by centuries old farms and hard working farmers. It’s OK if the US wants to produce ham but they should make it clear it’s not the same and avoid confusion.
PS: I think ‘5 jotas’ is the most international brand of iberian products, try their ham or other iberian derived products, they are one of the best available.
Religion and beliefs never cease to amaze me.
Yes, I think they will support them for at least 5 years.
Only ‘for years to come’
"Mayor Jacob Frey of Minneapolis retreated on Saturday through a sea of protesters yelling, “Go home, Jacob, go home!” and “Shame! Shame!” after he refused to commit to defunding the Police Department."
He says no to the abolition of the PD, not defunding.
Looks like a GET call to http://skynetsimulator.com/update.php is logging a SQL statement: INSERT into log (created_at, local_time, uuid, action, data, ip, device,os) VALUES ('2020-03-25 17:00:53', '2020-03-25T21:00:53.507Z', '965a4b6e-4903-4aac-a418-7edd0cf8657c', 'startgame', 'restarted=false', '000.000.000.000', 'Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/80.0.3987.149 Safari/537.36','')
What do you guys do with an iPad? I cannot barely imagine working with it. I just see it useful for emails, web surfing and not much more... It's a very expensive device, I don't see any justified use. You can get a macbook air for less and have a full blown Photoshop, IDEs, Word...
I'll wait for some benchmarks then. Maybe there's not much improvement. I see Apple is comparing last model that had 2 cores with this new 4 cores and saying there's a 2x improvement.
It's just not worth it money/usefulness. To me it's going too far with tech.
Well I'm on a 2016 macbook air, 8gb RAM and doing web programming everyday. 3 phpstorm windows, sometimes Photoshop open, more than 20 tabs in Chrome, iterm, figma, paw... Honestly it runs pretty well and I was waiting for this update.
'... it's hard to decide if that new movie just out is worth spending $15 on. Might be crap.'
As well a restaurant might be crap too, or a website or mason work... look up reviews before buying.
I'm not sure we can wait 12-18 months... Everybody will have to put all resources onto this, because if the virus comes back in autumn, it's going to be worse according some predictions. Hope it's not tho.
Social scourge. Capitalism at its highest.
