I do a search for canceling that business, before I sign up. If I see a bunch of horror stories, then it's time to walk away.
How did the car not even apply the brakes? How could it fail that bad?
This may be the most civil discussion I've ever seen on the web. Spread out over 11 years! Amazing. I love HN.
Steve Gibson did some research on this topic.
Expedia? The #1 Dark Patterns? Wow, this should end well.
I think weight limits would be a good start. Do we really need 400 pound linemen?
I also think game play would improve with lighter, faster players.
Not if I have to allow untested 3rd party Javascript / malware onto my system. No thank you.
Will Snap exist in 5 years?
What if you are just a passenger in the car? How will they determine this?
Also, 30 for 30 was another Bill Simmons idea...and he's gone.
30 for 30 is by far the best ESPN original content in the past 10 years.
I don't get it. Why shouldn't Yahoo pay the taxes? They invested in Alibaba, and have made HUGE gains, and if they want to realize those gains, they need to pay the taxes.
Here is my daily git workflow:
1 - Clone the repo (only need do this once)
2 - git checkout branchname
3 - Make some file changes
4 - git add filenames
5 - git commit
6 - git pull (make sure you are up to date BEFORE you push to remote repo)
7 - Build and TEST
8 - git push
That's 90% of what I do.
Merging branches is simple.
1 - git checkout destinationBranch
2 - git pull
3 - git merge sourceBranch
4 - build and test
5 - git push
Cheers!

The first thing I do before signing up for ANY new service, is search for "How To Cancel".
They removed all the "Yield / Unprotected Left Turn" lights in my town, just for this reason. People simply don't understand. It's a bummer to sit and wait, but it does save lives.
LOL!
I can only dream of code that cleanly formatted.
Correct. But none of the most popular sales channels were created by the record industry. (iTunes, Spotify, etc)
15 years later, the RIAA finally realizes this...
How about you build a platform that let's us purchase the music we want?
Exactly this. Minor collisions should move to the side of the road ASAP.
Serious question:
What do these cars (with no steering wheel) do, if involved in an accident?
How would the owner / police move the car to the side of the road?
