ChatGPT Work 13 days ago

Wow, this is the worst update I've ever seen. Highly confusing and atrocious UX. Where are my chats? Where are my projects? Why do I get a window inside the ChatGPT app for new chats now? Why does switching between Work and Codex not do anything? Are both the same? How can a company like OpenAI mess up so badly? Unless I figure out a painful way to work with this, I don't see myself using this anymore.

EDIT 1: I just want a list of my chats. Insane how they butchered their app. Work sounds nice until yo find out that none of the plugins work for my apps and there 5 hour are usage limits like CC does them.

EDIT 2: This is trash. They buried chats so deep in the new app they're unusable now. The whole list is hidden, and yo can't search for chats anymore. Also my projects are gone on macOS. In the iOS app my latest project has become a pinned folder? A function that doesn't even exist in the macOS app.

EDIT 3: Managed to get the old version back using home-brew. OpenAI help pages say the old app should remain as ChatGPT Classic but it didn't for me and there is no download offered.

I'm not interested in Work.

See that tiny arrow on the left bottom? You can collapse the container by clicking that.

Really shitty UX.

I have an iPhone 11 Pro. One of the lenses is broken and it makes a weird snaring sound while recording video. Battery life is still okay at about 80% capacity. It does everything I need it to do without fail.

If it weren’t for those defects I’d keep it at least for another year.

“Rather, the model’s configuration of numerical weights stores different attributes and features of a training image — edges, shapes, colors, and even abstract concepts related to what’s depicted”

How is this kind of information extracted into the model in the first place? Let’s say I train the model on pictures of dogs. How does the information about the dog’s body parts, their look and proper orientation end up in the model?

I think this is still used in binary use groups. At least it was a few years ago.

I can’t wrap my head around how those Cryptopunk NFTs can be sold for millions of dollars. Is it actually possible to cash out on those and convert their value to a real fiat currency?

I don't doubt that there are some legitimate use cases for SUVs. The problem is all the people living in cities have virtually zero need for an SUV. Since it is absolutely unfeasible to require people to provide proof that they need an SUV before purchase the only way seems to outlaw them.

The massive push for EVs while simultaneously allowing car manufacturers to build larger and larger ICE SUVs seems stupid and counterproductive.

A huge percentage (about 20%) of all cars I see are SUVs. Even for smaller cars there seems to be a trend towards really bulky bodies. Cars have become larger and larger over the years.

We have a giant problem with climate change yet car manufacturers keep making larger and larger cars. And people buy them. This does not make any sense to me. It only accelerates climate change, parking spaces become even harder to find in cities, and most people don't need an SUV at all.

I think SUVs and all large trucks that are not real utility vehicles should be outlawed.

Does any know if there‘s an extension for Safari that allows injecting site-specific CSS rules into pages? I know I could do this with a user stylesheet (but not site-specific) or Tampermonkey (but cumbersome via JavaScript).
