This reminded me of a friend who has a very serious form of cancer. His monitor died, so I decided to give him one as a gift, since he spends all his time at home doing nothing.

I went with my girlfriend to deliver it and I reminded he used to tape and catalog F1 races and other stuff. I asked if he was watching one of these types and he proceeded to open a large cabinet and give us a tour of his meticulously catalogued and tagged 70's and 80's porn collection.

I think this deserves a free course!

Also, even though I believe people should be paid for the quality of their work, not their location, props for at least being the most transparent as possible about it.

In my career I have worked remotely for companies in the US, Brazil, the Czech Republic and Belgium. Late 2022 was brought into the agency I'm currently working for to lead a team to work on the single Laravel client they had. That client went out of business, so it seems I'll be out of work :D
