Absolutely not denying what you or pjc50 are saying (there are far too many who cry wolf, or benefit "inappropriately"), but I can imagine the case where some people may be in the honest situation where they feel they have been silenced because they cannot say what they would like to say.

Forgiveness requiring an apology isn't true forgiveness, it's more akin to revenge.
And if you wait for an apology, you'll never be able to forgive, remove that burden from yourself, from those who have wronged you who are dead. Many instances of anger and a lack of forgiveness are multi-generational - or even parent/child.
People can rightly forgive without the other party even knowing about it. In fact, I'd argue the best kind of forgiveness is done completely silently, personally, and the only way anyone could figure you that you have forgiven someone is through your subsequent behavior.

As far as I can tell, they are still going strong. And the YouTube channel is always very interesting, and cutting-edge! It's not always about alien life directly, many times it is tangentially related (helpful [to the search] technologies, breakthroughs, panel discussions, etc). Perhaps not the most refined broadcasts, but they are always very educational and informative.
I'm also getting on (started programming as a kid early 80's on Atari 600) and agree with what you said - it really resonated with me and what I've seen over the years.
Sometimes too, I see comments from people frustrated with having to "work so hard". I'm sorry they have that burden, but for me, programming is not a negative in my life -- even though often times I do it many hours more than is actually asked of me. Sure it's got it's boring/frustrating times, alternatively it can be very difficult, rigorous, and taxing, but I doubt I'll ever completely put it down.
You're not wrong, but consider other "stuck-at-home" factors that contribute to over-eating: depression, boredom, food/snack availability (just hop to the "fridge" and grab something).

I think the OP is saying that if the "reward" for education is that you know more -- and that brings it's own intrinsic value on a cultural and personal basis -- then there will be no need to "score points" on any test or report card. Therefore, no "game" necessary. And that follows that there will be no cheating (why would you cheat if you, and your culture, are happy with the reward of education in and of itself?).
imo, it's will take a quantum leap for us as a culture to reward education for education sake. To the point that when you interview, simply saying, "yes I understand X concept" will be met with belief by the interviewer/teacher (vs/ now when you have to "prove" your knowledge by a game-able "score").
As for personally, imo, people can do it now: love to learn for the sake of learning. No point in cheating on the test if you're learning the subject for your own edification. The test will simply tell you where you are still weak.
I don't know anything about email software, but would it be difficult to add a popup after hitting the "Send" button that would appear only if there were more than X recipients (w/ a user-configurable minimum and sane default)?
Something like: "This email will be sent to 5,000 people. Are you sure you would like to send it?"

Wouldn't it make sense with everyone stuck at home and bored, "things" might happen? In a few years we might refer to children born in 2021 as "Corona/Covid Kids", no?
And with a population "boom", pressures on the planet may increase? Perhaps. People may become desperate for the "good old days", and/or won't care so much about the planet because they are desperate to survive financially at any cost [to the planet]...?
Perhaps not - if society becomes more conservative relative to "dirty" energy usage (oil, plastics, etc)...? And beings to enjoy, and appreciate things like working from home, cleaner air, etc...
