I think a lot of companies already trying to use this stuff, not SQL related but rather focusing more on the frontend. In reality, this causes more issues, like data fragmentation, versioning between different versions, security and at the end of the day it's a either a dev cost or server cost to implement this.

Usually, server costs are much much cheaper than dev cost to implement all this into FE, but it's a viable thing for the future.

noob question, but how can you create a localhost:3000 port, when ported to wasm, in the browser?

I think this is a cool demo for you to show, at least in my mind this might be a little mind blowing + maybe a db?

I know there are wasm dbs availble that are very light, but so that maybe it's a plus to consider.

Why I do programming 12 months ago

This article resonated with me, another fellow pawn script, but I used to do mods in the old half life and counter-strike and some other hl mods. Similarily I started from ms-dos, pascal from school and slowly went to the html part. I had the impression that my programming desire just faded in time with so many jobs, but It might be what you described as burnout... who knows, but I learned something from this.

Best of luck!

This is amazing! But beware admin, it seems that the RAM can be hijacked and increased...

I share your thoughts. Sometimes you just need to be at the right place, at the right time, solving the exact problem and this is troublesome, especially in this era when so much is already invented.

Maybe I just have a wrong view, but I don't know how to decouple from this.

My side project is about market making in a very particular way / or niched between decentralised exchanges and centralised one. The good thing is that this industry is so big that even as a small competitor I can do a lot. I don't have a product, just a basic page that's broken here and there https://asset.plus/, my actual revenue comes from my bots trading. I am currently expanding my infrastructure, but I really have to take care of costs because servers for low latency are expensive.

I share the exact feeling as you do, it's a lot of bs that has almost no value. None of those problems reflect what business needs to solve; everything today can be Googled and fixed with straightforward code.

Usually, the computing part isn't the part that prevents a business from scaling more (servers are cheap).

amazing to see this working with decent frames in the browser, congrats!

What a great story, I remember I found the same mod on a server and I played for one month on a daily basis until I got rich, mostly by taking advantage of the trading system as well. Just that in my case the economy crashed and we were forced to start over.

Interesting, how about adding them into a graph and show it on a weekly basis? I always wondered, plus if you could do something like avg salary and such... and evolution. Also to take in consideration the country and inflation over there, plays a big role.

What do you think about this?

Besides what other guys mentioned, I think what you really lack is a good focus on a long-term objective. I decided to experiment what I consider a decent salary to live off monthly, then I've set my goal to retire... before retirement. To do this I considered how much I would generate from the dividend in stocks and other assets... there's a lot of reading and planning.

This is one suggestion what you could do, plus you'll put your money to work for you, not just you for it.

Discipline is one of the biggest things. Motivation is not enough, everyone has good days and bad days like when you don't feel like coding.

Establish a goal for 3 months/6 months/1 year/10 years, something realistic (let's say you want to get a new car... that will be in the next 2 years or something ).

Take 10 minute breaks every 1-2 hours and move around during that time. Go grab a coffee or something, it will increase your dopamine levels.

When you take a new project always take 30% extra time from your initial evaluation (that's to make sure you don't end up with 12 hour coding push )...

Thank you, this really put me on thinking. The good part is that I always like to work hard and automate most of my products even if it takes me more time, and in this case it's ~97% automated. The problem with marketing is that I couldn't find my buyers when I tested, most of the success was with forums but at a low volume. So I assumed that I picked the wrong niche where to do business :)

I tried different approaches but I'm not that good when it comes to marketing. From what I saw the proxy industry is pretty big with over 1 mil searches monthly, just that I don't know how to get to my customers. Recently I tried to get more exposure and it has a slowly growth, but yet I don't feel that I can get much out of it.

I think it performs really well on some crappy vps's. That floating point exception is happening with the newer kernels, but who really cares. The claim with php (500k requests) they actually managed to get there with ph7 (which is way off). Still, even so, you could use gwan to get some high performance out of your static files.

Well when working with entities/objects you are not really getting more efficient at the cache level than an array. As seen in this example with array parsing.

Make sure to use simple arrays when you want to store some data, it's not just in C but it will work well in other languages as well including javascript, php, python, perl, etc

Because that's how processors algorithms are designed.
