This is neat, but I would like it to search against the entire archive of all youtube videos. I know you can't do that...but perhaps a Google employee making use of Google's Big Data offerings.
This is interesting but can you expand?
My understanding of survivor bias is that you're getting a skewed picture because some of the data was excluded completely.
replace reddit.com with redditp.com to make it into a slide show of the images in the sub
example:
https://www.reddit.com/r/gifs/ --> https://www.redditp.com/r/gifs/
(there are a few other similar reddit --> image gallery url hacks, just google for them)
So they have tables! They must have life.

Because of money obviously. If someone is out of a job for a month, especially if they don't have "deep" savings, they'll take the first or highest offer they get.
Also, how do you know they aren't having a harder time hiring?

Hello, we're continuing to do a ton of hiring at Stitch Fix. I'm responsible for a small team working on cross functional projects; Last year we worked on expanding Stitch Fix to support Mens clothing, and then we also built the engine that drives Stitch Fix's Style Profile and made it more flexible. We work closely with the Data Science team, and our goal is always to serve our customers better using the information they provided while not being creepy :-)
Stitch Fix is a clothing / style personalization service. Search Instagram for #stitchfix, which will tell you a whole lot about us, how much our customers love us and you'll get an idea of our business. Come back when you're done.
There are a slew of other super interesting open dev roles across Stitch Fix, including in:
* the Consumer Facing team
* the Warehouse Tools teams
* the Styling Tools teams
* (and many others)
You can reach out directly to me (gal at stitchfix.com) - I'm a Principal Engineer and a hiring manager at Stitch Fix. Here is a job posting roughly covering the role I'm hiring for: https://www.stitchfix.com/careers?gh_jid=455296&gh_src=r8m5v Stitch Fix's "Multithreaded" Tech Jobs blog & site (http://technology.stitchfix.com) has a lot more about the team and other positions (we’re also hiring iOS, DevOps, and UX) (BTW I used to include an ASCII sweater in this post but then Hacker News mods told me to stop, so now you have to go here if you want to see it: http://ascii.co.uk/art/jumper)San Francisco, CA | REMOTE OK in the US | US based only | Experienced Full Stack Rails Developer | Stitch Fix | Full-time

Says Symantec sold their cert business to DigiCert
So could it be a cert that was issued as Symantec and just now shows as DigiCert and would still give you the error?
On mobile I’ve been using incignito mode exclusively. This prevents a lot of tracking, and bonus is it avoids many paywalls. I’m liking it so far - might try to do the same on desktop.

Even the body...as I was reading it, when I kept seeing new acronyms defined and used it sounded almost comedic. It reminded me of some talk or something I've seen somewhere where the made up acronyms end up being really funny description words like ("and this we call a PAININTHEASS process"). Can't remember what that was though.

Hello, we're continuing to do a ton of hiring at Stitchfix, but specifically I'm hiring a developer to join my small team - "Better Data Engineering". We work closely with the Data Science team, and our goal is always to serve our customers better using the information they provided while not being creepy :-) Stitchfix is a clothing / style personalization service. Search Instagram for #stitchfix, which will tell you a whole lot about us, how much our customers love us and you'll get an idea of our business. Come back when you're done. Oh - also we've been really successful with all of this:
* Last time we raised $ was $25 million back in 2014
* We havent gone back for more $ since
* We just did $730 million in annual sales (up for $230M last year)
* We're profitable!

Ok well here is a version without the ASCII art. If you're able to edit, replace the one ^^ with this one https://gist.github.com/anonymous/1746753b72cca71941bc7e8ca0...
:( although thats disappointing I understand.
The "edit" button is gone...do you want me to re-post the message without the ascii art and you can delete this one? (but then I lose my spot in the chronological order)
