Not sure about ADHD but there have been several anecdotal evidence of magic mushrooms helping reduce or in some cases eliminate Autism symptoms. Bear in mind that Autism is a spectrum and not everyone will react the same way

Volunteer! I was in a similar but not the same position as you in the beginning of my career. Crushing job in a new city. I started volunteering with other young professionals as soon as I had some time because I was raised to 'give back'. Unexpectedly, it raised my morale a lot and also gave me a lot of great friends. Try googling for young professionals groups or you can always contact your local united way.

hmm none! The Cryptocurrency market is very unstable right now. This is different from usual stock market instability. When stock indices fall, given enough time they will bounce back. However, Crypto's very viability is in question so it is a very risky gamble.

That said, it all depends on your investment profile. Are you a big risk big reward person? Even if that is the case crypto's don't really offer high rewards for the high risk at this point in history

I use Wordfence and always thought it was good. But good to know that a lot of others find value in it too. Btw, looks like wordfence is getting killed with all the traffic from HN. Hopefully the increased sales will make it up to them :)

Unprecedented growth leads to unprecedented correction. This is profit booking but huge players. The market will stabilize and start rising again. The fundamentals are still strong

Don't flame me but how does tensorflow compare with Azure machine learning platform. For me it provides a great platform for practitioners

Death by Fire 9 years ago

Beautifully written. While I see the horror, it read more like a romance. The author loves fire despite her ruthlessness

As a hobby, I have been studying "oversold" stocks for the past month and am starting to see that the market is prone to over reactions. AMD and RTTR for example are stocks that were drastically punished for no good reason. I am assuming here is where Warren Buffet like folks buy. That said Twilio does seem to have a reason to tumble. The risk of losing WhatsApp also is too high for this valuation

Everything is possible until the budget hits the fan. Yo-Yo funding results in loss of productivity. What NASA needs is a consistent source of funding that is not subject to the vagaries of new presidents

I really needed this! While you know these things, it takes constant reminders to not fall back into bad habits. I constantly skip on sleep and I can see my body falling apart. This was a great and simple article to remind me

- Allegedly - watching Harry Potter while driving.

Who knows what might have been triggered after a crash like that? Maybe his ipad turned on and started playing some music or something strange like that.

While this is a very sad incident, my question is more future focused. Can a software update fix this blindness or does it require a hardware upgrade?

While this is an interesting and welcome development, nothing is for sure until the clinical trials prove the efficacy of this approach. The article doesn't say how the treatment worked for the 3 cancer patients. It only states that the treatment was tolerated. This headline mostly clickbait!

I have been searching for the holy grail of note taking for a while now. I switch from analog to digital and back like a manic note taker. This sounds very promising.
