Isn't this the case for every major OS? I know FreeBSD device drivers can be (un)loaded on-the-fly. Same for MacOS. I assume it's also possible in Linux(?)
Does it work in China? Can a website hosted in ipfs be blocked by them?

Nice excuse for being cheap. Is Sublime unstable or lacking any major feature? Why the pressure of getting more regular updates if there's not anything critical missing. On the contrary, it has a lot of features, there's a massive eco system of plugins for it.
Do you use Sublime for work? If so, you should pay for it. Any other excuse is just you, being cheap. $70 is nothing for it offers.
Maybe not to you that much unless you plan on travelling abroad... but it is for me. I live in the eurozone and get paid mostly in USD. I'm a freelancer and most of my clients are in the US

As it was said before, careful with what you are saying. That looks like a welcome email, which was sent as soon as you registered (password not encrypted yet) which is not a good idea anyway, but still, far from the security issue it would be if they were stored in plaintext.
So... your "startup" is something that bit.ly (and similar) could do in a few hours of work with an already established userbase.
