The most interesting part to me is that you can enable and track paypal donations between third-parties with just the e-mail. I thought you needed to go through their APIs.

I love Kierkegaard and I agree that it can be really hard to figure out what he is trying to say. I wouldn't have gotten nearly as much from his writing if it wasn't for supplementary material.

How do you call the most recently defined macro? I just have Q bound to @q, but if I could make it more general that would be awesome.

Cool design, the y-meter reminds me a lot of the hubwheel we have at hubski[1]. In that vein you could remove the up arrow on the left side of the feed and differentiate on the y-meter itself whether or not you've clicked it.

We have following and blocking of users and domains over at hubski (originally an hn clone) and it works pretty well. In particular being able to completely block someone from your feed and/or prevent them from commenting on your posts.

Reddit has a history of apologizing for witch hunts. What's going to stop this from happening again? Nothing. They just hope that, "Boston will also be where reddit learns to be sensitive of its own power." I'm sure that will solve itself.

I'd like to know as well, but from what I've seen just watching the top apps is that the people who make the most money have in-app purchases. Part of it probably also has to do with marketing, I don't know if the author of this article did a lot of advertising or promotion, but it is important.

I had this exact same thing happen. I wanted to try out some advertising so I put up in $20 and an ad for some shitty clickbank book. Of course it went nowhere so I deleted the whole campaign and left it at that. I went back to check out adwords a year later and my account was banned. I tried to appeal but they just told me that the anyone who ever had those urls as ads were banned and there was nothing they were going to do about it. Now that I'm going to get into Android development I'm think I'm going to try what you did, different address, VPN, etc. I'm moving in the summer so it won't be so hard.

Thanks! I would've missed the little easter egg in there if not for you:
