a lot of comments are dismissive of these generated convos because of out how obvious it is that these convos are generated. i feel like that's a high bar. you can tell that GTA5 is generated, but it's close enough to be fun. i imagine that's as close as we'll get with conversational AI

ya i could see some kind of interstitial like those newsletter pop-ups being effective that basically said 'we're offline for the night, we will respond to you in X hours'. to make the website less functional or accessible seems a bit extreme.

they've abandoned the content acquisition strategy. that went out the boat a long time ago. netflix is a content creation company now, competing with HBO, NBC, etc.

I've started working on a couple side projects that I would love to find some collaborators for.

1 is a broadcasting app for smart speakers (alexa, google home, etc).

The other is a tool for newsletters and publications for tracking attribution and links.
