Thank you very much for the clarification `jacobian` - I am assuming that django's connection pooling on 1.6 would still play nice with pgBouncer.

Is this the same as pgBouncer connection pooling? It does sound like the same - but unsure. I just spent a week learning and configuring pgBouncer! :(

Not true. I have worked for several lower rug F1 teams (purely by chance - I live in Oxfordshire and I am not interested in relocating to Marnello). Suppliers love lower order teams - and its because they punch above their weight. Take for example the Saubers - low budget (~USD80 million?), high skill engineers. Also, suppliers provide standard components - they do not affect the race outcome - they are standardized - take for example CF brakes. An F1 race outcome depends on car balance w.r.t aero maps. Nothing more.

Not true. Statistically, all the best drivers have come from lower order teams. Hamilton is probably the only exception. Just look at history.

Thanks a lot swanson for your detailed Django Android mapping. Actually, our idea is to create an API for the Django app, and come up with a wrapper for Python. However, our Django app requires users to upload files constantly, so I am not entirely sure if the API route is the right away - In any case, we are going to try this. Thanks again!
@bking: I am glad you asked this question. I do exactly what you say: After my regular 9-5 job, I work another 6 hours on my personal projects & I have been asking myself how to increase efficiency in those 6 hours (because my personal projects really matter to me the most). Recently, I have come up with a model whereby, I work 6 hours after work, every alternate day. So, I'd do my 6 hours on Monday, and then take a break on Tuesday after work - Id spend around 3 hours improving what I did on Monday (so, "no innovation" day). Those 3 hours actually help a lot - I try and read docs/SoF, watch some stupid tv, spend time with my gf and off to bed. I repeat this pattern every alternate days. To be honest, this model seems to work. Thats my 2 cents.
