Unfortunately there are no 40-43 inch models like other usual 4k tvs. 48 is the best we can get for now

I would add LG CX/C1 48 inch. The lowest price has come down to 1000 usd + tax around recent month. It has all the features and packs a top tier oled panel.
You can, if the pros outweighs cons. Why not?
I started to use it a few years ago when it was the only distro runs flawlessly on my laptop. All other distros had various problems at the time. I think that's its killer feature, hassle free.
It's the only distro I would recommend to non tech people if they want to try out linux.
I felt like the descriptions of Pascal suits Go well too. Although they are different languages, I felt like their design goals are really similar.
Exactly. If they are so hardcore on smoking, how are they going to deal with other soft drugs? and hard drugs? It's like 'left' and 'right' have the same ban hammer with just different targets. Don't people see how damaging this is?
As a non smoker I agree. So now we just take round trip and go back to banning again? Should we go back to banning weed too? How about banning alcohol? I just don't understand how certain policy makers are thinking. Is this the new war on drug? Aren't restricting and economic incentives enough? Just why?
edit: the downvotes without comments are funny. Could downvoters comment, and let's have a healthy discussion about banning smoking/alcohol/weed?
1. found out that the current position is not worth it 2. keep working as usual (don't overwork) and spend rest of the time interviewing 3. ??? 4. profit
I am not sure if the referrals are that useful. For the last few months I applied to around 50 companies and all the companies with higher bars ignored my application and all the expected companies proceeded with it. My referrals basically did nothing. It certainly didn't help with the interview process since the companies only care about the interview performances.
It's really ironical. I want a key set to work on all platforms. In the end the vscode's is the best :/
There isn't a unified set that works on idea afaik. They are very different unlike other sets which are just thumb on cmd vs pinky on ctrl. If there is one set works on win/linux/mac, let me know.
I find it really annoying that the mac version of the IDEA shortcuts is totally different from others since I am using 3 platforms at the same time. In the end I settled with vscode set. And as a bonus I could use the same set for both idea/vscode :/
There are other factors other than time though. In current market it's important to get at least 2 or more offers for negotiation power. Otherwise you might(or will) get the minimum offer of the band, i.e getting lowballed. Therefore going through a few of interviews in the same time frame is very beneficial to the applicants.
Exactly. I might as well just use amazon leadership principles.
That's the f*** up part. It's already optional. The owner can choose not to show it
If you can't tell from my tone, just saying that I am critical of it.
Not disagreeing with you. Just saying that this is the exact purpose of the NFT - to show that you are the owner of the digital piece, i.e having the receipt/bragging right of it. It has nothing to do with the distribution. Anyone can have a copy.
My bad, misread.
My bad, misread.
But the hooks literally solved the logic problem. I know what the complain means as I have worked on old code base. But I don't see anything better than handling cross cutting logic better than hooks. A pure hook based code base is not just the best in browser, but also better any other UI technologies in other platforms I have ever seen. This is my personal opinion. Could you show me a better way?
Uh, the hooks in the new versions literally solved this problem. And is backward compatible although it's somewhat painful if you work with both the class based and hook based base code base at the same time.
But if you use an current opinionated package. Next.js + pure hooks based+ typescript, beats everything on the market by miles. It's not even close.
Do it gradually just like how you learn materials in schools? All I am saying is that it's not black and white. Make different choices at different age groups.
Don't know if you have any children. I will quote a line from chef in South Park: there's a time and a place for everything. It's ok to have a line drawn somewhere and have a hybrid approach, relax the rules gradually. And I'd rather like to be so when I was a kid.
Personally I only use my phone to read. Most of the non-serious stuff are fine without write. If I need to write something I would use my laptop.
I just write markdown and put it in a private repo. Simplest I can do with the most of the functionalities I wanted.
Yes, one competing offer is enough. Applying for more is just upping the chances. The competition is fierce and luck is also very important. It's good to have backup plans.
The reason to interview a lot of companies at once is because of the competing offers. The candidate would have a huge raise by doing so. Certain companies would give out minimum offers most of the time unless they see the competing offers now, like Google/Microsoft.
I agree the logic. To me conceptually god and the creator in cthulhu maybe the same
I had some weird performance issues. Tried it side by side and flakpak version ran significantly worse. Not sure why
Well the problem is the definition of `Billionaires`. China's model is closer to typical corrupt authoritarian states like Russia where the government officials are the Real Billionaires. They have real power and capitals over those people like Jack Ma. They just need to move a finger and you will see the transfer of the capital. The billionaires are never eliminated. Just money change hands.
It's just that they are just less exposed in the global media, even as a forbidden topic in China's media. It's not hard to imagine how rich Xi actually is, he is basically Putin.
So when we are on the topic of `eliminate billionaires`, especially in the context in the country like China, the question becomes: which billionaires? ;)
