This is why I don’t comment on the internet anymore. You exist in the alternative reality in which every back and forth is a polarized ridiculous showdown.

Jokic is not famous outside of basketball. The Saudi’s would make him so wealthy he’d seem poor today by comparison.

Here is my sort of contrarian take looking at this as a freelance designer who pays the bills with Adobe tools.

Im happy to prosper from the work of other commercial artists while feeding the pool. I’ve used a combination of Bing Image Generator and Adobe’s tools to streamline a bunch of work flows and a lot of the pain points in my day have been smoothed over and made delightful. For me these AI tools are like an ergonomic upgrade, literally saving my eye sight.

Regarding sensitive files, I don’t have any hardcore NDA clients but I guess I’d wait for their legal team to care and carry on. Isn’t Windows itself compromised this much?

Depending on the trade secrets involved it could be a paranoid choice made in an area that rewards paranoia.

Maybe having somebody reach out for a tour was just red flaggy enough. I agree it’s weird and kind of crummy to then offer an auction up.

Maybe you can convince a therapist to use the AI with you and fill some gaps? I wouldn’t be surprised if this type of hybrid approach would be useful in some situations.

I see what you mean but these are well educated professionals who are just choosing to practice their positive psychology outside of their religious “niche”. Personally I’ve had a ton of great secular experiences with religious people, I’m sorry if you haven’t. Mormons, Sikhis, Muslims and many people at my Catholic University. I’ve learned a lot from them.

I’m a big fan of Positive Parenting as taught by the YouTube channel Live On Purpose TV. They seem to be Mormon but they never actually admit it. It’s just great stuff, practical advice. It strikes my partner and I as common sense which is a good sign I think. Find a school of thought that fits and then tune in for tips and relatable stories.

The restaurant industry has been completely wrecked. Maybe pick up a line-cook or other back of house gig. Since it’s fairly easy work to pick up, you can shop around a bit. You might not even need to give them a resume, just ask to talk to a manager and tell them you’re looking to pick some kitchen work up. There are places that’ll just toss you an apron. It can be a pretty hard job at times but there is a lot of bonding and some have a great atmosphere that will feel like family after a while. Just an idea, you’ll get some life skills and free food. Food trucks are actually kind of a neat middle ground and the hours could be easier on your schedule if you tell them you can only work weekends and some dinners. It’ll be very tight inside so guaranteed bonding over a scorching hot summer. You’ll work with young people still in the friend making frame of mind.

I also know of a couple like that. Apparently cross dressing is a staple of the social culture, I wish I could elaborate.

One thing that might be hard to appreciate is how much, at least for me, having kids changed my personality. I’ve become a much more patient person. Spending extended periods of time with my kids almost has a meditative quality in which I’m living in the moment and absorbing my surroundings in a deliberate way. My son’s presence in his environment provides a fresh perspective that I can tune into and ride along with.

I totally agree. People often argue that photoshop has been around forever and so on. Creating sophisticated pornographic video of any individual is brand new. Creating an app that realistically removes clothing from any photo is new technology.

I actually just now came up with an idea for a browser plug-in that removes clothing from every image loaded.

The term “art director” is already in use. Summoning AI clip art feels a lot like when an art director is tasking a photographer or illustrator with generating assets.

Truth is most successful artists and designers, especially in commercial art, have always been blurring the line between direction and “pure creation”.
