Why would that be? I am curious why do you think that.

Please share links or at least names of your sources. I would love to have a good source for this topic. Agricultural reaserch from Netherlands seems very broad. Are there any particular journals, newsletters that you follow?
I have been tracking Arts&Letters recently for stories from literary world.
It's just a clone of chrome feature. Cool they impelmented it too. I just don't see this "we listen to the community" more like "we are just trailing behind chrome"
More or less what you written + sometimes toxic multitasking I would leave one work half done and start something different. Also sometimes I open new tab is tead of working in the already opened one (that could be solved by some kind of tab dedup). Fun Fact IOS Safari has a limit of 500 pages per group then you have to open a new one.
I use single notepad.exe file in work. For private use I tried to use many apps, Obsidian got the closest but I couldn't make it stick.
I've been thinking about the same some time ago. But after a while I got to conclusion that Anki is pretty well designed after all. Although for what I remember Anki Connect is in form of unofficial extension. And it would seem that there is a place for an official more stable API. Anyway I never got beyond thinking about it. Just to let you know you are not alone, and you can ping me if you ever decide to do something about it.
Official Kubernetes docs are terrible. No versioning (most of the links on the internet are dead). A lot of text with not much exmaples. This one looks nice. Spec with full list of options, version history and examples. That's everything anyone would need. It reminds me of my favorite ansible documentation/spec which is a pleasure to use. Love it
Maybe add /s ;). It may decline number of hot headed responses
Ok you can't just say "plenty" and not name any examples. I would personally prefer examples from "1st world countries" group. I am not criticising, just trying to figure out where to move ;)
For me its not supporting wayland
I guess he refers that the stars are only fusion reactors that are creating surpuls energy (more than is neede to sustain reaction)
Its not where energy is sourced but wher its used. And assuming it will be civilisation's planet like Earth. The whole energy of the swarm will be used there. - It just has to increase temperature (due to additional energy on the planet)
This hypotetical kid would have the same size of brain/number of neurons anyway. In case of LLMs one could create a model that could be smaller thakns to not including the knowlegde about unecessary languages. A problem though could be with lacking traing data in other languages.
Hmm, I would say its always worth to share knowledge. Could you paste some links or maybe type a few key-words for anyone willing to reasearch the topic further on his own.
Thanks :)
Could you elaborate please ? You got me intrested but I can't make anything of what you mean by "curation".
Could you share? What are the media outlets that passed positively your elimination? And you are still using them?
You made me curious. Since you are using Linux, why Mac and not PC? Wouldn't PC be cheaper? Or was there any other factors?
This. I was just looking for the exactly the same thing. For now I use tmux with tmux-ressurect to persist state between reboots. - It works okeyish, I would say it's a good hack but still a hack. It's sad there isn't really solution for this problem maybe aside for warp. My little UX dream is to have such a solution of saveing workspaces integrated with whole OS and apps inside it. - That would be cool.
What do you mean? Could you elaborate please? Enumerate some deals so I could read more about it?
From what I understand it shows eyes only when you are interacting in real world soI guess it shows those colorfull waves and gradients when someones is looking at mentioned window
Could you recommend any book/article/video about how eBPF works? - I got a bit interested in this topic but couldn't find anything technical.
On IOS firefox doesn't support any extensions
Yep me too. There is also a discord server “biocord” which seems nice, but for some reason I am just unable to use discord. I don’t enjoy hanging there as much as on regular news aggregators as HN and Reddit.
I was also musing about making one myself using lobste.rs GitHub. But I never looked into it much.
I am curious, what books you found important enough to bother? So my list of (shame) books to read could grow even longer.
You got me interested, could you say more about how are doing this? What exactly sounds different to you, and maybe what is your first language too. I am European but my first language is polish so in this context it is useless :P
I see a great opportunity for chat interfaces like this one among younger audience. Every one knows how chat works, they are everywhere. And file systems or even tags are not so ubiquitously understood.
What you written about lack of scalability of emoji for me is their advantege over gifs.
To understand a meaning of a word/emoji/gif you have to see it in context several times or look up a definition. (with emojis and gifs there is additional problem in lack of dictionaries for them). When amount of words in a language is finite or they are extending slowly (emoji) I ma able to keep up with thier meanings as opposed to gifs and memes. Which are evolving to quickly for me to keep up.
I know that HN is maybe not a place for such comments, but I strongly belive we need to make "attention span overflow" a thing
