this is monopolistic behavior. I think a yearly billion dollar inflation adjusted fine sounds about right.

nice. I was actually looking for something to control the power on the computer's ports. I have a lidar connected to Orin(running Ubuntu) and the lidar constantly turns. Being able to control power to that would be nice. I think powertop would work, haven't tried it yet.
I'm glad you here to save us. What would we do without you?
calling it 'bashnumerate' and then have the command be 'enumerate' is confusing. find one and stick with it.
when the CCP controls media, news, corporations, they basically control the minds of their people. How do you suppose the Wuhan virus got so out of control? You mean to tell me anybody in China can say bad words about the government and their leaders, bookstore owners/employees are not getting arrested for selling books, students are not getting arrested for sharing their opinions, women are not forced abortions and sterilizations for the one child policy?
Was browsing some of the other rust projects(https://isene.org/fe2o3/#tools) and https://github.com/isene/torii says "Mozilla removed Firefox's "Open network login page" banner". I'm on windows and still see the banner so don't know if this is true. Is the really true on Linux?
That's really sad to hear. I think it's just so much to configure for any human to take on. I'm going to run my system config through an LLM and have it optimize it for me see if that works.
I have smartphone in pants pocket and bluetooth headphones cut off all the time if that's any indication of how good it is.
"Honest"
they never said "couldn't". they said "feels like the complexity"
sour grapes, sure! Are you going to argue any of the items I've listed? "Western corporations that mostly focus on extracting local populaces while inflicting as much damage to possible toward local labor groups." Western corporations didn't inflict anything. They ask for something to be built, pay, and receive goods. Chinese companies agree on payment, hire people, do the work, and deliver. win-win. Where's the inflicting part? Oh wait, Chinese companies choose to burn coal, dump chemicals, harsh labor, etc but you blame Western corporations. So Western corporations wrote in the contract you must burn coal, you must pay works $1 per day, no bathroom breaks? In fact, I doubt Western corporations deal with local labor groups at all.
You know why China has money now? Because of Western corporations. But fine, you don't want Western corporations, kick them all out. Right now!
"should have" "could have". Geez. This was malicious. Take legal action already!
but wouldn't that give more opportunities for local students? The disadvantage is, they come, learn, leave, and take what they've learned to benefiting a competing nation, sort of training your replacement. Also, there is the security and IP theft aspect. What are the benefits?
Why would they spend that on the US??? This is an investment and they want maximum gain which is definitely NOT in the US.
they already have in 2016. https://www.cnn.com/2026/01/01/china/china-one-child-anniver...
China is not a good trading partner at all. They put up barriers for companies entering their market, mandatory China employee in your company, IP theft, they subsidize and flood the market killing competition, most everything they make is lowest quality possible, lots of fraud even within China.
can you explain more on this "demographic crash" because I am not in the loop. Are you talking about population decline which I'm sure will have some effect but elimination?
I'm deaf so they better shine lasers into my eyeballs
cheaper for customers??? What world do you live in where sellers care about customers?
which would already be covered under general fraud
Have you ever run a business?
I don't understand. Why would anyone buy their bonds when the US bonds yield more?
18.99 for me but with 2 mac and cheese
part of it has do do with scarcity and gas prices. Gas is used to produce and transport. If gas prices go up, prices go up just to pay for gas. Basic supply and demand. There are more humans, more cars so the demand is higher and gas is a finite resource. Alternative energies help but gas still heavily used.
just in time for Sony to sell you a digital game and delete it at their whim
sounds like fraud to me
Ebay is no less shady. Buy something(from China) that takes a long time to arrive, reviewing is disabled. Ebay is junk.
So Amazon could have logged who performed the action(based on logon details) and catch the culprit.
can you share a pic?
the professor has all the power in the classroom. If you don't want cheating, define better conditions for the exam. You allowed a take-home exam which means students are able to use any and all resources.
