As a recent graduate looking for work I'd be very interested.

Yeah, Christianity isn't that bad.
What does being white or a gamer have to do with this?
You'll all be there in a few years if it sticks around.
Alright, thanks for the advice. I had similar thoughts but wasn't totally sure.
The attitude seems a bit out of place but I understand your position more now. Thank you.
Why do you guys get so angry at anything vaguely anti-any vaccine?
This might be an actual thing but it may be the onset of a psychological break. I recommend talking to a psychologist and friends and family.
Great! I really believe them!
That's a very good point.
Not all. Some cryptocurrencies are Proof of Stake instead of Proof of Work. This means that in order to try and do a 51% attack, the attacker must have 51% of the staking coins. PoS uses magnitudes less electricity than PoW and game theory suggests it's just as, if not more, secure.
Yep, this is an interesting pattern in a libertarian (essentially, they are ignoring laws for now) society. They will provide good service and rates until they have a monopoly and can maintain it. Then, they'll abuse the customer until a viable alternative pops up.
Flagged for negativity ;)
The fact that somebody can't write nigger destroys the flow of the article and wrongfully elevates the word. It's just a word, stop giving it power.
How is this "antisemitic"? Jewish people are disproportionately represented on NPR's staff. I don't see this as a problem, but talk about a speck in your brother's eye when you've removed the plank in yours. Live by the sword, die by the sword.
I come from a conservative background and I've never been discouraged from hanging out with different ethnicities and cultures. We are not the strawmen you apparently think we are.
There were add-ons to seamless download songs as you played them, as we as playlists
I used Cloud9 for a while. The lag from typing on my keyboard to showing up on my screen became pronounced that I stopped using the service. I was on the free tier. I can see the appeal, but the execution of this service was too poor for me to use. Perhaps in the future I'll try again.
Nope, go on 8chan and other controversial sites. You don't have to like what they say, but you'll get interesting ideas and points of view that people won't say on mainstream sites like HN and Twitter. Seek out writers and sites you don't agree with and read stuff that makes you uncomfortable.

The fact that she was clearly in the wrong also made it a hard case for Pao to win.
Firstly, I upvoted your account because you use logic and don't try to shut down discussion by whining that somebody is being to mean in a comment.
Secondly, this comment hit the nail on the head. Let kids pursue fields they are interested in, regardless of their race or sex. Don't hijack a person's career to serve your moral crusade.
Throwing more money at a problem to try and fix it in the way that makes sense in a very surface level way isn't smart when the stuff you want to fund has been shown to be minimally effective.
Wouldn't that result in a race to the bottom with regards to teaching?
Hopefully this doesn't turn into a revenue sharing deal like spotify.
I think the quality difference might be due to a lot of government jobs where you people use dragon are on Windows.
Yep, I'd rather some people get scammed than my rights be further violated.
It seems a bit improbable that everybody in the government is not wise enough to see what they're doing.
I think I fall on the opposite end of spectrum from you, as I tend to think that 99% percent of the politicians holding office at high levels don't actually care about their constituents. I have yet to see any evidence that contradicts my current belief.
If Obama doesn't fully understand what he signed, that would be even more frightening than him not caring.
I don't think they don't understand, but rather they don't care. Obama is at least a decently smart guy. After all these repeated infringements by the government, there's not really a chance that he's somehow unaware.
I'm not really sure what the problem with that is. Security flaws are important to know about, as well as personal opinions. We don't want HN to turn into a hugbox, as that gets rid of all the info that is useful.
Positivity is nice, but criticism is what chips away at the block of marble until it becomes a beautiful statue.
