Half the top pages on Google are now AMP links - which are hosted on Google. So no Google doesn't need to track you across websites because you never leave Google.

I'm guessing floor tiles/fake stone benchtops. Huge market that would require a lot of glitter and it's not something you initially think would contain glitter. The expensive fake stone benchtops would feel "cheaper" if you knew that it was just glitter making them look good.

There's really no issue. If your card is stolen and fraudulent charges made the bank will reverse them. Having used chip payments for years now, I couldn't imagine living without them.

I built this tool because I was sick of having bookmarks stored my an individual browser or having to install a plugin. This is the fastest and easiest way to save bookmarks I could come up with.

i love workflowy too although I find myself using Trello more often. I keep my weekly schedule on workflowy.

thanks for the feedback - all my ideas are to solve problems that I have come across. All my apps past and present have been built because I couldn't find a solution that worked for me. And luckily other people seem to have the same problems and I've managed to attract awesome investors.

p.s - penmusic is nothing to with a pen, rather its a feature i was toying with to integrate music streaming on my pen.io product

I have a trello board with two columns. One has all of the ideas I come up with (title, and short description on how I plan to implement the idea). If I start work on an idea, I move it into the other column, just so I can keep track of it.

Ever couple of weeks I go through the list of ideas and change the order of the items, putting the ideas which I want to work on first towards the top.

Not publicly as I usually end up working on them in some way or another. I use Trello to keep them organised.

Agreed - but I know of many quality startups that have moved to the U.S from Australia (including mine). I think the bigger problem is lack of quality Angel investors, VC's and incubators. The largest angel network in Australia still has a ridiculous and immoral pay-to-pitch flow. They simply just don't get it. And the VC situation is even worse.

I just removed the FB connect code from Pen.io - Causing automatic redirects for all logged in users. Luckily it was easy to kill for us and won't cause users any issue with logging in.

@rmc - not what I said. Regulating privacy, as in ensuring a company doesn't illegally share your personal information after you register, is perfectly fine. But regulating how a user registers up for an opt-in service is completely different. If you don't want to use your real name, choose another social network, that doesn't have this policy.

No of course not. But regulating such a ridiculous issue is a waste of money and anti-competitive.

"Law is Law" - my point is that this shouldn't be the law.

Shouldn't Facebook be allowed to do what it likes? Regulating how an internet company chooses to run its product is very worrying.

I don't see this as a problem at all. From a user perspective, I would much rather see this than flashy banner ads polluting the experience.

The same thing happens on sites such as RetailMeNot.

Good on Pinterest for monetizing and they should continue being aggressive and explore other opportunities.
