Check out NameSilo. Not too many fancy extensions but the free privacy is always nice and prices are reasonable.
I don't like how none of the pictures display the FireTV Stick with power cord vs Chromecast which does not require one. In fact, only 2 subtle note even alludes to a power cord.
Excitedly waiting for a new Android tablet but 32GB max is too little for that price tag.
I suppose Google expects more photo/video taking on phones vs tablet hence lower storage?
Looks nice but did not find any differentiation from what I already use - Pocket http://www.getpocket.com
Is this in partnership with the listed restaurants? Otherwise it is almost like ticket scalping... :\
Congrats to Songza! I really like Songza and discovered many great music I otherwise would not have found with the service. It has become my go to for music discovery.
I hope Songza continues and become even better. :)
This Loyal3 looks interesting because of the IPOs, credit card purchasing, and the no fees option.
However I am wondering what happens if the company (LOYAL3) folds since it allows fractional shares? Closest reference I found was this,
"LOYAL3 Securities, Inc., as a broker-dealer, has to comply with certain regulations regarding the requirement to have adequate net capital and asset protection. LOYAL3 segregates your securities holdings and cash in your account, meaning it keeps your assets separate from the firm’s own assets. In addition, LOYAL3 Securities, Inc., is a member of SIPC, which protects securities of the customers of its members up to $500,000 (including $250,000 for claims for cash). An explanatory brochure is available at www.sipc.org."
Surprised I got a 0 as well! At some point I was not sure if my monitor color collaboration was off or I am seeing patterns.
Where did you see about an escrow? Or are you asking hypothetical? Since the site does not address this issue, there is nothing to stop the site from up and leaving with all the coins. With a mixer, they can easily disappear too.
There is however a phone number listed here, https://bitbook.ie/contact
At first I was under the impression that it isn't WordPress specific but it looks that way when you read the bottom about the plugin.
Quickly browsing though it also looks to have flavors of Kickstarter for plugins "backing".
Actually having difficulty even locating where to change my eBay password!
Also I did not receive ANY emails from eBay regarding this. Not sure if it meant my account was not affected, or it is just taking a while...
( EDIT: Finally found it, http://ocsnext.ebay.com/ocs/sr?st=1&query=How%20do%20I%20cha...? )
Since the file is uploaded to Torpedo servers, details on the encryption/security should probably be shared.
Is there a reason you chose not to specify what the game is on the page?
It took me awhile to figure out that it was a Rock Paper Scissors game. Only after did I realize that was what RPS stood for. Then looked at GitHub where the real description was.
I had a Lytro when it first came out and returned it a week later.
This was the exact reason why. The refocusing aspect sounded useful and appealing at first but the lack of other features quickly made the device lose real-world applications. This new one looks much cooler/normal and offers more features hw/sw wise but with that price tag I am not sure who their target market is.
While it could be a win-win situation I feel like the underpaid/job stealing argument will be even more heated by a service like this.
Also the fact that "transferring" a H-1B takes longer than the grace period you have when laid off/fired (1 month?). Unfortunately the "panic button" that I know some people use is to convert to a full time student and try again later.
Thanks for this! Perhaps an internal flag (to review) can be set when too many bounced emails come from a single api key?
Maybe they can force login via their main site first. Lousier user experience though.
I am curious why Coinbase is not rate limiting that API call (temp-fix) or addressing this yet (even privately)?
Granted it is not a critical flaw, but is having no limits over time really necessary for Coinbase API users?
Does this mean MtGox users can claim capital loss when filing taxes now? How will users be able to prove that?
I never knew Mod was Draft until I read this linked article. http://needwant.com/p/cancelled-kickstarter-campaign-funded-...
While reading that I was wondering, and not accusing Mod team here but just a thought, what is stopping people from using Kickstarter this way (to gauge demand) deliberately? Launch a campaign and yank when it is successful to pursue larger profits?
I know it is still beta but did not see these information on the main site. Which 40 countries? Estimated pricing?
This quote of McDowell really highlighted the shift in mentality for me. Fast triumphs caution?
"The problem is that they may be making more reasonable steps, but they’re making fewer steps. It’s hard to compete when you’re moving slower, even if you’re moving in a consistently correct direction."
This was my understanding as well. And is by far the most restricting feature on Webflow. Makes even less sense considering the largest "cost" is simply db space.
From article "exclusive two-hour interview" but then no link?
Does Zinc simply kickback some affiliate revenue earned?
This was my experience as well. I did not know 2-factor was offered by MS. Definitely using that now!
I think the idea has potential but would this not encourage users to purposely commit sparsely?
Anyone know of a simple comparison chart with the many options available now? (eg- AeroFS/BTSync/SpiderOak/Mega/Bitcasa/Cubby/Younited/Dropbox)
Take from the campaign page comments,
1.) Android / iOS “receiver” and “controller” is on the ROADMAP, having them as a “streamer” would also be awesome, but requires that people root/jailbreak their devices, which we can not officially support. (Restrictions on hardware access by vendors unfortunately)
