Not sure about sides here but if you launch rockets into cities indiscriminately and then the building where you keep your weapons, communication center using human shields after warning residents well ahead of time that the building will be blown up, actually gets taken out who is at fault here?

Does Israel not have right to defend itself? Is Israel like South Korea who gets attacked regularly and does nothing and opens itself up escalating levels of attack?
What is it about game development field that makes it so labor intensive with consistent overtimes?
I tried to make a simple FPS game and it was astounding how much work was involved. Took 6 month of learning Unreal and Unity and gave up with a functioning prototype. Took 4 months of back and forth with Steam to list my game. Even harder trying to make money off it. I'm just in awe of Roblox, Minecraft, Fall Guy and all these other successes.
We all love games but not everybody gets to make em. It's insane how much detail and granted we take for all the flood of games we have out now.
It did make me change my stance on piracy. Somebody spent their sweat and blood bringing that game. We should pay for it what we can but won't be against emulation of retro ROMs.
Unfortunately the Open source industry has been hijacked by VCs. They are polluting the space by chasing quick dollars and confusing developers and users.
Not sure why people would downvote this. I guess supporting OS with donations is frowned upon here. Meanwhile everybody is more than happy to use free software here. I find this disgusting.
Blender has gotten considerably better. I think it will keep going strong due to the huge Unity crowd. Unreal shops are more likely able to afford commercial licenses on famous software.
I argue that Blender is right up there in terms of importance and significance in the OS world.
Please consider donating to Blender. I have pledged at least a low 6 digit figure over the past 20 years and I've loved seeing it grow. I don't get any returns obviously just glad I played a small role.
