After extracting and exploring omni.ja (just a zip file) in Firefox's installation file, it looks like to be codenamed as "tail150".

In theory, yes, you could, if you have enough storage space, and if the download provided (not yet) is a vanilla Minecraft world format instead of a custom one that they are using internally

Today the limit is ~1500 concurrent players

The server have a pretty long non-priority player queue wait time with most of ~1500 you mentioned waiting in the queue (about 2/3 of them), even hitting two days last time I read it somewhere.

And of the players online probably half are bots which don't build.

which might be why the queue wait time went insane over the recent years.
