How do you handle billing / payment processing?

Published 3 articles so far, but working on AI architecture and management. While most people are focused on prompt engineering and making stuff with AI; I'm more interested in how it actually works, how to size workloads, how to maximize performance, the security and safety aspects. I've been trying to use tools like these for data aggregation, analysis, and finding trends. One major issue I experience with almost every product is I will tell it to "sort by column x" and it either doesn't do it, or will state that it did it when in fact it did not do the sorting. How did you select the hardware? Did you do a bake off/poc with different vendors? With the intention of being in different countries, are you going to leverage the same hardware at every DC? What level of support SLA did you go with for your hardware vendors and the colo facilities? And my favorite, how are your finances changing (plus pros cons) by going capex vs opex?

Bought a Hisense tv for two reasons: status light turns OFF when the TV is on, and there is a physical disable switch for the microphone. Verified both in reviews and in person before buying.

Takes CO2 and extracts one oxygen molecule. Really neat they can do that with Mars' thin atmosphere .

Does anyone know if there is a similar process that can separate both oxygen molecules and the carbon molecule? Then use the C to 3d print things and the oxygen to breathe/fuel/etc? Probably energy limited?

Though that is with a broadwell CPU and about 3 years ago. Might see if I can get my hands on a 6348 ice lake CPU and see how she burns.

Good point. And different in different regions such as Texas vs NY. Upstate NY vs New York (the city). Even in the same cities within different cultural areas just blocks away from each other!

Then when it pops all the people with means will buy it up to invest and those without will still be in the same situation, or worse.

Re fireplace - check out a ventless system. They can change existing burner and logs with ventless which gives you lots of heat that a vented system won't. Can get a decent one for 600-1200 bucks.

Might be a dumb question...but what would a single hydrogen or carbon molecule look like? It was not clear, at least to me, how many of these particles make up atoms.

Yes that is how it used to work for sms. My first cell I had to convince people to not text me because I didn't pay the extra ~$35 a month for texting, which I think got you 500 monthly texts. Friends that didn't know or when it was "an emergency" would send a few texts and cost me extra couple bucks a month.

For calls you used to get a pleasure with a set amount of minutes, such as 200, 500, and 1000 per month. Most carriers let you "roll over" unused minutes and typically anything after 9pm didn't count. Though I remember cingular offering 7pm as the unlimited time if you paid an extra fee (don't remember the cost).

Slowly larger plans, then unlimited became more normal. I can of remember it becoming more cost effective the same time more people were getting internet through cable or dsl, instead of dial up. So 2002-2005ish?

They have an option in software to enable encryption. You provide a key and supposedly the encryption happens at the client in your end. Obviously you have to trust their software and terms like you mentioned. Though backblaze has a great track record and is very open. If you don't want to trust them there are other softwares you could use to encrypt your data before giving it to backblaze.

But one of the benefits of backblaze is the simplicity. Simplicity of setup, backups, and restores. If you muddle with that by encrypting before giving to backblaze you lose out on part of the value.

It also usually seems when people roll their own it opens up risk of forgetting something. BB is easy, set up their encryption and you should be fine.

Just some thoughts.

Pretty neat tool Pabyzu. I like how you layed out the different blocks that show the master info and then a few more details, like RAM used being large and then small total amount of RAM and processes. What are your future plans?
