Very interesting and useful project. I was going do develop the same one myself. Do you have any plans to open its source that other devs could install it on their own servers to keep data under own control and contribute to improve this project?

"Elixir In Action" is a very good book to start also.

I guess Elixir is a good choice. After reading recent HN post [1], I’ve started to work on my own implementation of open source fast file transfer client-server application.
