This should read "NYTimes Announces Easy Way to Get Written About in NYTimes".
I have been on his side and this sentence is absolutely excessive. However, Weev didn't seem to be able to draw a line on when to stop trolling in real life, and that is probably why they sentenced him to 41 months. He may have got less time if he wasn't chiding the government/case for the entire duration of the trial.
Wouldn't it be ironic that this post is from "The Starter League"? They are the quintessential example of "selling to the miners" - charging $8,000 to learn web development. Why would they post this?
As an engineer, this makes me have less desire to be with Yahoo. This move is like something a parent would do to a group of kids they couldn't trust to do their job without supervision. How about they just bring in, or fire the bad remote employees? Why risk punishing quiet, smart guys (who might be slightly introverted) who serve important purposes? Our company has remote employees, and most of them are brilliant.
Well done.
They are probably doing this right now, don't you think.
Unless there is a bug bounty-type program in place, I wouldn't expect an email back. You're wasting your time. I've had the same results as you in the past. I don't even report them anymore.
To me, this is a marketing tactic.
I want to see if these are real, but I don't want people knocking on my door tomorrow morning.
I get more work done at home. For me, when I am at work, I don't feel guilty to take a break and read a personal website, since I am "working" 100% of the time. However, when I am at home, I feel guilty when I go off-topic, because I know that I'm taking advantage of the situation.
Note: This may only be limited to "strict" corporate environments, like my current one.
So what is it? I don't understand what making vines or a scene are, and don't want to download an app to find out.
Am I the only one who doesn't understand why he resigned if he is innocent, as he claims?
The title should be "EXE Icon Extraction with icotool and wrestool".
According to this article, if I use Hibernate, I don't understand JDBC fully. What a ridiculous premise.
Why is this hosted on GitHub?
There is 0 credibility to this claim. I could make up a list of passwords if I wanted to.
I'm sure they've put layouts through a focus group or two.
Yeah, I'm not going to an XXX domain at work. The idea is terrible and not worth whatever benefit was in mind.
"I got rejected from YC and here's my idea. It still sucks"
"MVC, Backbone, wireframing ... Django, Rails, Node, Hadoop ... Amazon Web Services & Heroku ... Git in a Nutshell Continuous deployment & TDD"
They should teach more than just the latest (popular) concepts/languages like node, ruby, python. There seems to be little mention of important concepts such as data types, pointers, and OOP.
