Reminds me of Slavoj Zizek’s classic example of synthetic sex (look it up), or his grievances about today’s academia: paper written by ChatGPT, peer reviewed by ChatGPT, and consumed by users as a synthesis from ChatGPT.

I don't know. If this is a real thing, then I'm really sorry for what happened to you.
But this whole post seems a bit fishy to me. Brand new account, and it starts with "Title:" and "Post:", the whole thing being obviously entirely AI generated, and a few other signs.
I am also baffled at how long this vulnerability was left open, but I’m glad you’re at least making changes to hopefully avoid such mistakes in the future.
Just a thought, have you tried any way to triage these reported issues via LLMs, or constantly running an LLM to check the codebase for gaping security holes? Would that be in any way useful?
Anyway, thanks for your work on opencode and good luck.
Ah yes, the classic Apple move of hiding basic functionality behind obscure shortcuts. Thanks for the tip.
In case you're using OpenRouter, check out their new Response Healing feature that claims to solve exactly this issue.

Try changing the system prompt or switch to opencode [0] - they allegedly reverse engineered Claude Code, and so the performance you get with Claude models should be very similar to Claude Code.
Is this AI?
I call BS on that. I can get the entire text of the article by just viewing the source, no email address needed. Even if it was somehow needed, it's trivial for a scraper to circumvent that.
FYI, they (oddly enough) communicate mostly through Discord, and they have said they are investigating the issue at 10:30am UTC - 13 minutes after the first user reports.
Could that be due to contractual clauses for uptime in SLAs?
Can somebody brief me on what's people's incentive of posting AI slop on HN? What are they gaining here?
Yep, Stable Diffusion & ControlNet can make for great QR codes. There are even a few dedicated models for it https://qrdiffusion.com/blog/controlnet-models-for-qr-codes
The Karpathy tweet came out 2025-02-02. https://x.com/karpathy/status/1886192184808149383
Nope, not really for voice memos - those are locked away in the app. Unrelated, but it also has terrible built-in support for playing audio files from the file browser.
Well there’s at least two of us.
Indeed. I stand corrected.
You havent heard this absolutely crazy thing about their sea drones that happened not even a month ago? https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/ukraine-says-it-shot-do...
Not true, not being in a hurry hurt one of the operations. "Russians climbed onto a truck in an attempt to prevent the takeoff of FPV drones and the attack on the airbase". https://nitter.net/bayraktar_1love/status/192916791054458931...
Just as a quick demo, here is an example of YOLO-World combined with EfficientSAM: https://youtu.be/X7gKBGVz4vs?t=980
don’t autoplay sound please.
Yes, that’s confusing and probably hard to find a good balance. Someone speaking Greek or Czech may expect to find their language around E (Ελληνικά) or C (Čeština), but nope, on Wiki it’s all the way after Z.
Hey, thanks for that, Anon Kode, Anon Codex and other projects, very cool!
Check out Aider [0] or Anon Kode [1] (clone of Claude Code). New models are why I try to build all my tools and infra to be model-independent. On that note, I also prefer to be provider-independent, using OpenRouter [2] or T3 Chat [3] and the like.

What happens to therapy when we take the friction out of it? The same question could be applied to all our relationships. As AI companions become our default source of emotional support—not just as therapists, but also as friends and romantic partners—we risk growing increasingly intolerant of the challenges that come with human connection. After all, why wrestle with a friend’s limited availability when an AI is always there? Why navigate a partner’s criticism when an AI has been trained to offer perfect validation?
This tendency towards maximum comfort reminds me of many things, e.g., food delivery apps: they provide a near-seamless experience, at the loss of small encounters with humans that may be really important for a happy life.
My impression was that one of Russia's main aims in Ukraine were precisely these minerals, oil, and gas resources in the eastern part of Ukraine. Doesn't this make the US in many ways the same as Russia?
Also, I'm certain this will be spun into very effective pro-Russian propaganda.
The workaround that works very well for me: use DisplayLink. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=38149233
I dont always necessarily need or want the latest info. I find Reddit to be a good aggregator/filter that also acts as one of the walls against disinfo, i.e. some of the content never gets posted, or gets immediately debunked.
