Another copycat CEO who read somewhere that in-office work drives "collaboration, creativity and innovation" and thinks that it's the ultimate solution to solving a companies problems. In reality, all these CEO's ONLY care about the stock price and their structured earn-out/incentive compensation within their executive employment agreement and how that plays out for them.
I believe he is referring to this
Apple needs to make it impossible to be stolen and sold for parts.
Source? The Venezuelans and Iranians have strong relations, I doubt this is real. A lot of propaganda against Iran lately while the Israelis continue to slaughter Palestinians on a daily basis (while calling for “freedom” in Iran).
American outrage towards the rights of women in Iran is so fake it’s comical.
They just banned abortion in several states and not a peep from anyone. Where is the outrage for American women?
America spends hundreds of billions on foreign policy while blatantly ignoring domestic issue like these that are detrimental to our way of life. It’s sad to see America turn into a cesspool of crime.
There is no such thing as unlimited when it comes to resources and/or scalability in the hosting market. You might want to find a local colocation provider, buy a few network switches and servers as a secondary production and backup environment for your startup. Deploying your own infrastructure gives you full control over your startup. Yes it will raise your overhead and yes it’s not cheap but for a sustainable operation it’s a requirement in my opinion. I currently use Azure but I also have my own deployment with my own IP addresses and ASN which I keep spare capacity and keep some important servers on there incase something happens with Azure. Definitely helps me sleep better at night.
This is disturbing. Outside of this, I actually deleted the Twitter App from my phone a few weeks ago when I found out they still own a huge part of Twitter.

Every so often I would come across articles on CNBC written about this crypto genius (SBF) and they always reminded me of the media buzz around Elizabeth Holmes back in the day.
What about the gasoline tax that we pay for on every gallon that’s supposed to go towards our roads? Not only are we being taxed on every gallon but we have to rely on foreign investment too? It should be either or.
This reminds me of the toll roads here in America. We can’t afford to take care of our own roads so we’ve opened it up to foreign investment. Companies based internationally now own our roads too.
Absolutely. Please, enough suffering. I can’t imagine what the families of prisoners must be going through right now. It’s a nightmare. I really hope Jadi is freed soon.
I feel for these individuals who are suffering but let’s be clear.
This attempt at overthrowing the regime in Iran with the help of the western media is probably not going to work. This is not the first time that it’s been attempted. If you’re willing to stand against your own government then you’re definitely brave but you will likely deal with the consequences no matter where you’re from. And that’s not something anyone can help with.
I posted this a few months back and I was downvoted but I’ll say it again. It’s important that we all remain neutral and promote non-interventalisim on this platform. One life harmed or lost is not worth it!
Nobody has the answers. Social media is an experiment gone wrong. Just like dating apps and other pieces of software that exist that are trying to replace normal human interaction. These first generation prototypes have a basic level of complexity and I expect by 2030 technology should evolve to the point where better solutions exist.
I have an XPS 15 I got at Costco for about $2k years back that I used out in the field (i7, 16gb RAM, 1TB NVMe). Extremely happy with it and it’s still my primary go-to laptop. No extended warranty, never repaired or any issues.
I just purchased my first MacBook Pro (M2) a few months back and I absolutely love it! Now that I no longer work out in the field, I always have both laptops at my desk mounted on two Twelve South Curve Stands with an extra monitor in between. I have a magic keyboard (Touch ID) and an MX Master 3S. Can’t complain!
Always book directly through the hotel website. Priceline has deals but their customer service is horrible. Also it seemed like the majority of the time I would book an express deal they would put me in an accessible room. I’m not disabled and generally no issues with it but I found it odd. Not only that, they will never honor their “price match guarantee.” They state that if you find a cheaper price on a express deal they will refund you up to 200% of the difference. They will act like you are crazy if you call them after finding a cheaper rate. I learned my lesson the hard way. Don’t book through 3rd party travel websites.
Very sorry to hear that. Have they performed a CT scan or MRI? Have they ruled out MS? Some of the symptoms you mentioned might be caused by MS (Multiple Sclerosis).
Underwriters are much more strict after the 2008 crash and it’s become more difficult to qualify for a conventional mortgage. New home builders were building less overall and focused mostly on building expensive ($500K+) rather than affordable homes. In addition, cash buyers still make up over a 3rd of US home purchases which include many investors. A healthy drop in prices might happen in the near term but any kind of doomsday scenario is unlikely to play out IMO.
And the West supposedly stands for human rights..
Everyone should be encouraged to pursue higher education. But that comparison is wrong.
My account doesn’t get banned by a bot and I can’t get in touch with a human behind the platform working as a waiter or trying to become an NFL player.. social media is not normal. It’s Zuck and others creation along with their paid team of nerds who are having their way and harvesting data on their users. It’s unethical in every way and brings no good to society.
As long as you don’t sell you haven’t lost. Could recover in the next 2-3 years. Stock market is a risky investment. Own it and move on. Take responsibility for it and don’t feel bad. Brush it off as a loss. It is what it is - you took a risk at the end of the day.
I hate hearing about this. I’d be angry too if I invested all those hours and was banned by a bot.
The risks involved investing your time into building out your project on a 3rd party platform make it not worth it.
I hear about Google and Apple Apps being banned on the regular. Even a few weeks ago the Google Stadia platform being shutdown after a gaming developer spent several months building out their game. When will people learn?
I also hear about way too many of the younger generation who invest much of their time on social media aspiring to become an influencer on YouTube/Instagram/TikTok. It’s not sustainable long term and it never will be.
It’s important that the message gets delivered that these platforms are not sustainable. Sure there’s a small minority out there making it work for them but for the 99% you’re better off investing in higher education and working a lucrative career starting in your late 20s - early 30s.
Actually that’s a selfish way to look at it. You’re putting other peoples lives at risk inside the country. Anyone could easily decide to contribute compromised and malware infected VPN or TOR servers that will in actuality log traffic.
Just my opinion but I think that non-interventionism should be promoted here. Especially when it comes to political situations like this. It’s a dangerous game.
Crypto has been such a proven failure yet people still say these things on the regular.
Reading about E-Pimps changed my whole perspective on OnlyFans. History tells us where this is going and it’s very likely things are not going to get any better unfortunately.
Isn’t that called state sponsored terrorism?
This has been going on for many years in the Middle East:
