I think you can mitigate a lot of the time and volatility risk by trading on margin, i.e. buy coin on one side and sell on the other. You can still get called on either side but the risk should be smaller.

I don't know if I would trust the opinion of somebody that 'collaborates' with one of the companies that has already lost millions trying a different approach and has the most to lose if this actually works. It even points this out earlier in the article - 'The ready-made approach could pose a challenge to companies including Juno Therapeutics and Novartis, each of which has spent tens of millions of dollars pioneering treatments that require collecting a patient’s own blood cells, engineering them, and then re-infusing them.'

You can also use an algorithm. I do something like create a 'base' that is used for all sites. And then something like take the number of letters in the url google = 6 and add it the beginning. Then take the second letter from the right and last, 'o' and 'e' and add it to the end. In the end you get 6baseoe. Unique password for each website.

I know that some larger law firms have processes to give you "free" legal representation. I have worked with a large law firm before that was willing to take on promising start ups in exchange for a note (converted during the next round). Just saying that it is strange. When I set up twitter for my mother (about the same age as this guy) the first thing that I did was show her how to follow somebody, and that person was me. Why doesn't he follow his son, or anybody else other than journalists? It just seems off imo.

I also find it strange that he only follows journalists on twitter.

I think that it is important to note that without good instruction no method is "good". It is really really important for anybody learning anything to understand fundamentally what is going on. This is the problem with most people that have math phobia's (I don't believe there are people that are not good at math). They are taught to memorize their times tables with only a fleeting mention that this really a summation. On this weak foundation people add more concepts, and BOOM they are math phobic. The thing I do like about the "line method" is it is a very visual way to show children what is going on. The chunks, if you will, are literally the place of the digit.

In my opinion, Kickstarter is just a futures market for Goods/Services. When they come out and say, "What are the risks and challenges this project faces, and what qualifies you to overcome them?", it just sounds like Futures are dangerous, risky, and you might loose your money.

I don't think you can call them a traditional store, but you can definitely call them a Futures Store.
