Have a look at this: https://blog.cloudflare.com/announcing-amp-real-url/
Cloudflare allow using of same domain to use AMP. In this case, content is served from Cloudflare CDN.
This looks mostly like gimmick PR stunt to cover the recent setback India had with China in the border. For example see this news from a channel that supports govt. shorturl.at/acjoM This is not a comedy show, its a real prime time new show.
If India was serious about taking action it would have done something about the Chinese branded phone and Chinese infra project. All the largest phone brands in India are chinese. Same is true for Tv's. All unicorn startups in the country has considerable chinese interest. This ban carefully stays away from all apps, businesses and things that could really invite a response from China.
And it worked. As in the link above, Modi's followed have taken the bait. They are happy and all over social media celebrating this as a fitting reply for the soldiers life lost in the border.
That's the first thought that came to me, when I saw this.
Isn't medium.com everything that you are proposing with more features like intelligent recommender system, flexible layout control etc?
Really cool. If embraced by other browsers this can have good impact in iot space.
I had a look at Vue after a long time and then weex a react native alternative using Vue.js instead of Reactjs. Backed by Alibaba and actively developed it looked really good. But a look at issues made me a bit afraid to use it. The primary language used for discussion, suggestions etc is chinese. Documentation however is available in english.
That suddenly makes Angular look scary for some clients. vulnerability that is known to an entity/entities but unknown to the Angular developers or contributors....
Being founder of a startup, I often get into position as this. I think there is alot for founders too to learn form this small story. Thanks for sharing.
I am not sure if you have considered this already. Put Cloudflare in front of your site and write a page rule to cache html too. You server will hardly get any hit for cachable pages(which i believe most of your pages are) and then enable always online feature. All the best. :)
I think in era of state being the public enemy names like this has a political purpose. :)
Really great app. I was alway in search for open-source tool as this. Didn't get time to check yet. But have to soon.
Seems like an awesome tool. For all those pros who are wondering who will use this tool. Let me tell this, this is an invaluable tool to teach programming for web without scaring them with all complexities. And the learners still have a url where they can see things in near realtime.
I have often wondered why Android don't categorise or have some mechanism to allow users revoke permission later. I have been a long time Android user but recently started using iPhone. I don't like iPhone for many reasons but then the control you have on turning on and turning off location, data connectivity, access to photos etc from one screen is really something you should have on all device. I felt the need of this, when Facebook asked for permission to read my messages.
