All I see in production forums is how can I make my mix louder?
You can blow by Spotify's lufs recommendation, the normalizing just knocks you down, thereby squashing your mix further (even less dynamic range)

Well you get that there a need for it, and people are trying to find solutions to overcome the issue of latency, that's the whole point, isn't it?

It can do a pretty impressive job, it does help to use high quality source material. Using mp3 rips from youtube might get a little more artifact-y. sometimes, vocal like instruments will get pulled into the vocal rip instead of the "karaoke" instrument part of the extract.

what about Zopfli/brotli?
Gzip compression benefits taper off in benefit after the "7" setting, IIRC. Brotli at higher settings compresses better, but you'd want to do it static as opposed to on the fly (at higher/highest settings)
Many of these recommendations are at odds with HTTP/2 recommendations, practices.

Any plans to add reddit's API under the social category?
There is still a need for a ucache (in addition to built in opcode cache)... although a lot of high traffic WP sites are turning to redis over memcache for this.
At least with SF Muni the bunching of busses issue is more human/contractual/process related.
When the bus runs late (because stuff happens) and thereby completes it's route late and turns around, and is basically right up against the "next" bus... they send them both out BECAUSE the thought of paying a muni worker to wait for 10 minutes to create a sane space between busses is unthinkable in a penny wise, results foolish budgeting process.
