I've heard similar issues with startups I work with in SE Asia and East Africa. In a similar vein to the Alipay integration you mention, I was also recently meeting with a handful of startups in Nairobi, and we were discussing how an integration with M-Pesa would be awesome, in particular as Safaricom recently opened up their API.

Thanks ritwikt for trying it out, Linkedin's API has proven to be a bit finicky compared to Facebook's API. At the moment, because we're also focused on mapping your social network and ironing out the details, we have quota score of 50 for testing out the full platform.

Thanks! I used Videoscribe by Sparkol. In the end, I used their paid version, which provided high resolution and soundtrack integration, but their free trial is pretty comprehensive as well.

I love stories of this kind of successful anonymous collaboration. I can't help but think that they will only become more common/cross-border. Keep it up!

Thanks for the feedback krrishd! We changed the toolbox restrictions, so visitors can access the full toolbox contents without signing up (need to sign in only to view the resources profile pages and for commenting/voting)

And per your previous feedback, agreed - in the next iteration, we're planning on making the tags less prominent. Would love to hear others' feedback if they have it!

We added a sign up to track votes and comments on the resources (so users wouldn't be able to vote more than once). These lists are opening up months of our market research, and you can see all of them without signing up (sign up allows you to see a description and as mentioned, allows for commenting and voting for those that are interested). Thanks! The MOOCs and the "technical development tools" (things like javascript frameworks and databases) seem to be the most popular resources so far. The larger toolbox started out as compilation of the tools identified during our market research with tech entrepeneurs and then to keep it updated and relevant, we decided to crowdsource its ongoing curation. Re: gaming the system, you have to sign up/login with an email to vote and comment. Every new tool that is added we review to make sure the tagging is correct/it fits with a startup's scope.

And our use case is focused on helping tech entrepreneurs identify new tools as a task come up. So when you are thinking about migrating to RDBMS database, you can check out what databases other tech entrepreneurs have found useful/endorse as well as find options if you're looking for accounting software that is geared towards entrepreneurs.

Incorporate diversity into your learnings. Different courses, different approaches, different viewpoints, different news outlets, different acquaintances, and even different Twitter followers. It will help instill a more well rounded perspective.
