The author tried this treatment on herself. I was unable to find data associated with this self-experiment, such as lactate measurements on multiple days while applying the treatment. Is there another article I missed that covered this?

FogBugz just sent out a retraction. Their intention was to retire the free service and offer the opportunity to upgrade to paid accounts at a 50% discount. If anyone was charged and didn't already receive a refund, the email to request a refund is fogbugzbilling@ignitetech.com.

We don’t know if this was a nook or a cranny, but it decided to act on its own. Truth. It’s embarrassing, and we’d react the same way as many of you have. So this email is to set the record straight.
We do not automatically charge any customer for usage of the software unless a subscription has been expressly elected, despite what the erroneous auto-email stated.

With some assistance and teaching, cats and dogs are capable of learning to speak in sentences. In 2018, a speech pathologist named Christina Hunger, who used AAC devices to help special needs children learn to talk, tried applying a similar approach to her dog, Stella. It worked surprisingly well. Stella could speak in four-word sentences with a vocabulary of around 15 words by her first birthday, and was up to 49 words by her third birthday. Since then, many other people have followed the same process to teach their pets how to talk.
Why Sars-Cov-2 is a suspect:
1) Many of these hepatitis patients tested positive for Sars-Cov-2 when they arrived at the hospital for hepatitis.
2) Sars-Cov-2 is changing fast. Just in the last few months it has changed substantially several times. Increased hepatitis risk in kids might be one of those changes.
3) The usual causes of hepatitis were not present, and no better explanation has been found yet.

This sounded strange to me, so I searched for more information about it. It looks like you just misunderstood the CDC's policy.

In other words... Imagine some lab just found a breakthrough case. And this breakthrough case had an especially high viral load (Ct 28). And the lab was just going to report a positive and throw away the sample...
Imagine the CDC yelling: "Don't throw that away! I need more details! Please! If you won't finish the job, please let me do that work!"
That's what the document is saying. There's a rare event that needs extra analysis. CDC is just letting the labs know in advance that if they ever see this event, and didn't have the resources to fully analyze it, please send that sample to the CDC so it gets the attention it deserves.
Nothing to do with whether the test is considered positive or a breakthrough - just about whether to put extra effort into gathering more details on that particular case. CDC is volunteering to do this extra effort only for higher Ct values. Whether or not they do this extra work, it's still a positive result either way.

If each phone generated 500 numbers per day, then TimeIntervalNumber is a number in the range of 1...500. So generate 500 codes using all of the numbers in that range. If any of those 500 codes match one of the codes that you actually saw in the wild, then you were near that person.
I’m part of the CoEpi project, one of the member projects of the TCN Coalition. I see that some of my teammates are searching through the OpenTrace code to see if anything there is worth taking, such as their device-specific bluetooth range calibrations. I don’t think there’s been any two-way communication between these teams.
Think of the daily key as the seed to a random number generator. If two people pass the same seed into the same random number generator, they can generate the same list of 500 random numbers. This provides a compact way for someone to say: "I just learned that I was infected. These are the 500 identifiers I broadcast on that day. If you recognize one of them, then you might also be infected."
The approach outlined by Apple and Google is very similar to, and likely based on, the TCN protocol developed by a coalition of open source projects. If you'd like to discuss possible vulnerabilities and propose further improvements, there's an active community already doing that who would be happy to have one more contributor. :-)
This is excellent news. Many open source projects have been working on this contact tracing approach for a while now and have been asking Apple and Google to provide this kind of support.

An NTD reporter had a similar idea, but focused on total deaths in the city of Wuhan rather than just flu-like deaths. The main idea of this article is to use what you already know and just get it done, rather than experimenting with new tools. The author already knew how to use most of these tools from a previous job. He stuck with the technology that he already knew, so that he could focus more on business aspects rather than new technology.
In that spirit, you should use the App Engine that you already know for as long as it seems to be working well for you. When you run into a problem that can't be solved in App Engine, that is the time to ask for advice on how to solve your problem.
This seems very close to being a tool I would use.
My wife and I like to play escape rooms together. There's just two of us, and we prefer a team size of 5-6. So I often hunt through booking pages for rooms that already have a team of 3-4 signed up, so that we can join them.
This tool lets me search for rooms that are available (which is almost all of them) or booked (which I think means fully booked - not clear). I would want to search for rooms that are partially booked, preferably with 3-4 people and room for 2 more to join.
Totally separate issue - the hardest part has been finding locations that we like. So far we've found two that we love a lot: the Great Escape Room in Miami and the Master Escape Room in Boca Raton. Of course we've played every room in both places. Yelp reviews are mostly written by people who just did their first escape room, and even frequent escape roomers like us seem to vary a lot in preferences.
Udacity has a course that focuses on flight. I know several people who took this course and are very happy with it.

Sebastian Thrun is a cofounder of Udacity, and one of the world's top experts in self-driving cars. Sebastian Thru won 1st place in the DARPA Grand Challenge in which self-driving cars raced across the Mojave desert. He is also a VP at Google, where he has worked on Google's self-driving car technology. One of the first courses at Udacity was called "Artificial Intelligence for Robotics."
All interesting points. Even without them, Phoenix does great in this benchmark.
My takeaways from this article were:
1) Phoenix and Rails are clear winners on API.
2) Rails performance is unacceptable, which makes its nice API irrelevant.
3) All others are good enough that if I wanted to choose them for other reasons, this article wouldn't stop me.
