I’ve enjoyed seamless upgrades since the iPhone 1 and maintained essentially the same user experience (with minor changes) throughout.
For me stability is the major feature. I want a high quality phone that just works and for my data to carry across devices seamlessly.
Discord channel sprawl is a strange phenomenon. It happens to each server I’ve joined, just gets worse over time.
I think park of the issue is that you cant /part a channel in discord. Every channel you have access is automatically joined, you can’t leave and you have to adjust notifications for each to avoid an overwhelming number of messages.
That and the communities are usually small-ish so you have the same people in most of the channels.
Not sure why this is downvoted. I think one of the (many) reasons to lock the doors is absolutely to keep unauthorized persons out of the room.
It’s the inverse basically. Harder (but still possible) at first but over time a network of trust and reference is built. As opposed to the sneaky/illegal house of cards that could fall at any moment.

Scams happen because of humans. They are not unique to any particular technology.

Well, what does clean up tabs/spaces actually mean? Saying “remove tabs in favor of spaces” is much clearer.

HTML scales exceptionally well
After layering abstractions on top of abstractions, and centralizing onto a few providers it makes sense to simplify and diversify again.
I miss things being presented via their own unique web sites as opposed to “pages” within the current top social network.
My experience is different in that large patch sets usually get a “looks good” while smaller sets get a lot of varied feedback.
Depending on what your personal goals are (and your tolerance for accountability should things go wrong) doing the work up front can be a good approach.
This sounds similar to what is now done to button cell batteries to deter kids from putting them in their mouths.
