I Changed My Name 13 days ago

This happens to Irish/Scottish names too, such as McDonald, Mc being 'son of' in Gaelic language; the capital letter after Mc is wrongly changed to a lowercase letter.

Another very frustrating issue I run into, is hyphens not being allowed. My firstname and surname both have hyphens, and they are very common even in English based names.

Sigh! Once again they are pushing something they don't understand the impact of.

It sounds great on paper, they can pretend they have done something. The reality is, the overreaching age gating they enforced, resulted in a lot of parents needing to set stuff to adult settings, because like this, the government doesn't have a clue what they are doing

This will have a huge impact on a lot of organisations, for example those that have a communal SharePoint, or shared document page: files shared from ex-employees for critical documentation is going to break.

This is all a smokescreen, to force queer kids out of having online community. As a queer kid, it is a lifeline, the government knows this and they are bowing to extreme xtian groups.

The irony is, it is the boomers that have serious (anti-)social media problems. They are being manipulated enmass

I am from the UK, and I also think this is true. Hop on a call and the wording sounds like they do not want to fix the issue

It comes across very condecending. Maybe it is a US problem

I have a very good grasp on jQuery and a good grasp on SPA frameworks, and as soon as you cross that barrier into a complex application, jQuery is completely unsuitable in maintaining a clean state.

Things like Tailwind take the core concepts of bootstrap and build and improve on it on a grand scale. It is like comparing jQuery (bootstrap), to React (tailwind).

Twitter and musk are nothing but far right "political extremists and pedo's".

You are kidding yourself if you think that twitter has or is gaining relevance. It has nose dived in users and has dramatically lost revenue from advertisers.

Dont kid yourself.

You are ignoring the elephant in the room, so to speak. Apple has a large share of mobile browser usage with Safari (a Webkit browser). Add to this also that any browser used on iOS is webkit.

That aside, what you are asking is really just you giving your personal preference of a browser and if we agree.

This is why I do not use any chromium based browsers. Firefox is a solid browser with none of this interferance by a monopolistic advertising company.
