I love this kind of app. Take something that exists a million times over and take it to its natural conclusion. There are a lot of useful apps in the app store that I will not install because they are not as simple as the obviously should be. I have two recommendations: First, you should consider adding all the units to the picker so I dont have to change tabs to measure volume weight and time. You can detect what type of unit are in view and auto populate the second picker with appropriate conversions. Second, considering the simplicity of this app, I would consider using a UI template to polish the look. I dont know much about iOS templates but the link below looks acceptable. Hope this helps. This is great proposition. I've been running into something I might call Premise 4: Not knowing precisely who makes a meaningful beta customer.

When I was in the 3rd grade some time ago, an amazing teacher decided to bring in his personal apple IIe and allow interested students to hack after school. He taught us "Logo", a simplified lisp variant that I remember being very intuitive. After we understood the basics, we began building robots with Lego/Logo, a Logo variant you could use with an external controller that operated motors an sensors embedded in lego bricks. It was a transcendent experience for me. What's more, as a kenyan immigrant living in midwestern suburbia in the early 90's, it was one of the first times I felt as though I had a meaningful place in the world. I never stopped programming and its why I'm an engineer today.
