A few examples: silly jumps when reading the text when the model starting to respond, slide-over view in iPad breaking request while Claude and ChatGPT working fine. - Google offer 2 choices: your data used for whatever they want or if you want privacy, the app expirience going even worse.

My experience with BAML was really good. For structured outputs, JSON schema is slow and sluggish while BAML performs well. Interestingly don't see much attention on HN, wondering is it hype of other SDKs or BAML doesn't deliver enough.

I’m glad not completely off with my bet 5 years ago that Rust will get larger chunk of the market. With the spread of AI Rust feels like a good candidate among Typescript and Python giants in a an era of coding assistant tools that needs a good nudge like Rust compiler.
I came to the same conclusion and am working out my way back to Europe. I find that France has such a nice quality of life. The only disadvantage for non-native speakers is the need to learn a new language,every country in Europe has its own language which still restrict mobility, and that's the biggest hurdle to becoming part of the community.
imo the ecosystem is weak for a local-first apps. I'm dreaming about e2e encrypted local-first database that would be easy ti plug in and store encrypted on the server. From the tooling perspective, WASM seems a good choice for most likely embracing through Rust.

It seems like Big Corps are afraid of PWA. Apple made a lot to make it harder to make a web app in ios safari; not talking about PWA.

I tried most of the existing editors and worked with some of them a lot. Lexical have a nice declarative API; so far, enjoying using it. Even without proper docs, I quickly got an idea of what it is and how to develop. React ecosystem lacked a proper text editor and lexical is really promising.

The key difference is the way how data is structured. I think it's easier to navigate and use the data on a board than within a document. However, as a drawback, the amount of information on the board is more limited than in the document for comfortable usage. That's why I believe Boardist won't work well enough for huge volumes of data and big teams.
We are also more focused on personal needs. For example, we already have an extension for bookmarks. Our next steps will include providing content scrappers and more productivity tools.
My goal is to provide the best experience with data organization. Don't hesitate to try Boardist and hope you will enjoy using it. Your feedback is highly appreciated.

Unfortunately, Firefox has issues with WebAuthFlow and I wasn’t able to deliver extension on this stage. Definitely, Firefox extension is a Must and I will work on a workaround to deliver it later on. I hope for your understanding.

I truly understand your concerns but for now Boardist can only provide the cloud solution. One of the future improvements will include the encrypted widgets.
