Their food culture is the problem. Obesity is a massive issue for islander communities in NZ and the country at large, and there are plenty of other cuts of meat available.

It always amazes me how dense materials get as you move through the periodic table. For example, a cup of mercury would weigh about 3kg or 7lb!

"If I can get a job in the games industry, ANYBODY can. Not at my company of course. I would never hire somebody as unqualified as I was!"

Reads to me like he got ahead because somebody took a chance on him but he refuses to do so for other people now. Isn't that the core reason the younger generation hate baby boomers?

I'm not in the US so the video won't play, care to transcribe it for us?

Resealable sandwich bags. I use them to portion food, either raw or cooked, and freeze. It means even if I'm working 50+ hours this week I can cook a couple of meals on Sunday and be sorted for the week. It also means that, since I live communally but cook by myself, I don't have to eat the same meal for four days in a row.

as high as you want

I'm assuming you're spreading the weight, but lego bricks have quantised sizes, wouldn't that put a limit on the rate you can spread it?

I've worked for a company (electronics design/installation) that desperately underbid competitors to get as many jobs as possible, then the boss piles pressure on the workers to get the job done at an inhuman speed. Inevitably, up fucks occur and the boss has a shit fit, you get in trouble and have a black mark against your name. Not fun all around.

The lessons, not every job is worth doing and always allow margins for mistakes.

In regards to the contamination,

I don't think that would be a real risk. Earth life has spent billions of years both adapting and adapting to the environment to make it the best growing medium and even then it exists in exclusive bands. For example, put a polar bear in the desert or a fresh water fish in salt water. It is more likely that we would have to take extreme care not to kill any lifeforms we brought back than to worry about them killing us.
