Thanks for burning a couple hours of my day

Uh, organometallic molecule? I was raised on the X-Files, I know the Black Oil when I see it.
I have a small astigmatism (and wear glasses) and I was able to do it, but I feel like if I did any more today I'd have a headache.
As an ex Red Hatter (pre IBM) this feels like top-down IBM influence, and against the always open spirit of the old Red Hat.
Yeah but they probably all share DNS or something related to networking
Hmm, will it turn out to be DNS?

What is a good algorithm-to-purpose map for ML beginners? Looking for something like "Algo X is good for making predictions when your data looks like Y," etc.
https://www.linode.com/products/bare-metal/ —still prefaced with "coming soon" but it looks like you can "create your build".
Old enough to remember upgrading the RAM in our home PC so we could play Doom —quadrupled it to 4 megabytes.
Hot take: actual steak is made from recycled carbon dioxide
Me too. Even if you have a great theme in VSC you're still stuck with the sidebar and the bad Microsoft-y typography choices everywhere.
Over the past year I've tried a few times to switch from Atom to VS Code, but there's always a little thing that brings me back. With effort most of the functionality could be reproduced in VSC, but the stupid MS typography can't be themed away.
Ironically it didn't have "time traveler"
Makes Linode look like an even better deal.
Years ago I did school IT, during the time when all websites moved to SSL-only. We used to filter websites easily with Squid and something called Dan's Guardian. When Google switched to SSL-only we had to change. We could have required everyone to install certificates, but instead we used PowerDNS with Lua to force all Google search related queries to answer with a Google-provided CNAME.

The desktop app works fine for a coworker in Arizona, but for me on the east coast web and desktop are down, but mobile (iPad and iPhone) is working.

Crap, I was just telling someone how much I liked Linode.
This is a more simple place to get a sample of the typeface: https://beautifulwebtype.com/ibm-plex-sans/
I have to get up and touch the wall to control my lights, which sucks. Seriously, though with small kids being able to do certain things without hands is pretty handy.
Can confirm, down for hours.
A dynamo is great and all, but how do I become a Lord of Synth? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXgNo5Smino
It's possible to "catch" the Define Settings button by moving the mouse back and forth with the right timing. eg starting left, going right and immediately back.

Funny enough he went through the trouble to make sure tabbing works, and that the bottom url indicator is readable. If you tab to "Define Settings" you can in fact disable analytics, and "Accept All" changes to "Accept".

"Everything I don't like is far-right"
The erosion of liberties in the US started before 2020 AND it got a LOT worse under COVID. Both is true. And there's nothing silly about what's happening in Canada right now.
