Just to make it clear: you don't have to write stateful apps, just because you can. It's still possible to have the more traditional stateless model like Rails.

If you do write a stateful app, and run it in k8s, you can have state handover to a newly created pod. It works pretty well.

Just want to say - thanks Chris! LiveView is the most innovative web technology I've seen in the last 5-10 years, and it is an absolute joy to use.

TextMate 2.0 7 years ago

TextMate is such a wonderful editor. I tried them all, but always go back to TM. Also the fact that you can use ruby to write plugins is just awesome.

I almost always feel irritated when booking a vacation for this reason. So many days of lost income! But the funny thing at the same time is - I really need vacations and always feel better after them. Also the same thing if I need to do something during office hours (like a doctor appointment).

You probably meant it in a good way, but it is much better to say "Who knows a good alternative to iTunes?" or "How would you design a perfect music player?".

You wouldn't want to see a post "Who else hates dzohrob's music player?" would you?

Same story every time. At 1$ it was a bubble, at 30$ it was a bubble, at 100$, at 1000$, etc. I wonder what needs to happen for the "bubble" people to say - alright, this is not a bubble anymore, I was wrong. Or it will always be a bubble for them?
