Very cool I'm going to share with our NEKAAL group at Farpoint Observatory.

I'll probably say something you don't like. Deal with it kiddo. Independent eCommerce Shop fulfilling fun, hard to find items for 14+ years!
Is there really demand for 4000 plus data centers? I have a feeling that's shooting a bit above the mark (10x).
Relying on soil surveys at 5 acres is typically not advised. Soil samples will always yield best results. Your State Ag School usually will process them gratis or for little cost (they may ask to add the sample to a database). The more samples the better!
One of the best:

Homeowners, if you care about your grass looking great, not a bad idea to get a sample.
Former GIS guy here, I've modeled and mapped hundreds of rural jurisdictions so I'm familiar with what you are trying to accomplish. Not sure how comprehensive USDA soil surveys are these days as soil conditions can be hyper local (down to the feet).
Many of large ranch lands and farms are going to be listed exclusively by a certain broker which may require website scrapping at minimum and or heads up data entry at worst.
Colorado:
For general usability, I'd suggest at a minimum adding State and County lines, and further, census place points for labeling.
You've included some interesting filters that's for sure.
And of course my usual plug for a great mapping book - How to Lie with Maps - https://press.uchicago.edu/ucp/books/book/chicago/H/bo274005...
I'd be willing to give you input.
At Farpoint Observatory, this is a major concern for those keeping an eye out for near Earth objects.
Does this ring true in California?
Memory prices will adjust accordingly as this becomes the norm.
Yawn, after Toasts AI provided me with very incorrect sales numbers, I'm scaling back ai use. Its glorified search for non coders at best.
It's very much looking like OpenAI will be bailed out, along with all the other Capex'ers. I say this because the trump admin (I feel partially at fault because I voted for him) has indicated they will be bailing out the entire ai stargate from intel and amd to amazon and anthropic. I know alot of everyday folks that absolutely hate - passionately HATE - anything and everything tech bro. Downvote all you want, that's the reality. They see Palantir et al as evil and demonic.
This is great! Thank you for coming up with this.
edit- First 2 plays I watched are back to back homers. Go Royals!
I wasted many hours this weekend chatting with ai, so I did my business in excel using https://udm14.com/ to find relevant pages "old school". AI slops out fast.
pretty sure its only for videos with cc enabled.
Really seems that this entire industry has been told it will get a MASSIVE bailout. And with Fink basically confirming so means, Hillary was right? Trump is a tyrannus dictator?
My 2 cents is in 3 years the inference products will be a commodity, extremely competitive with diminishing returns, seeing that the open weight models are getting so good and nearing par with sota.
I feel 90% of sota for 10% of cost / compute is good enough for 80% of workloads.
Question is, do we need all of this hardware? Are build outs going to get canceled. 4300 new data centers seems excessive. I personally haven't experienced any service disruptions...
Does Microsoft still have 1 million gpu's in storage? Is that what I heard earlier this year?
yawn
call me crazy im still using a 100gb box account from when i bought an hp touchpad. that thing was so cool.
As models gain efficiency, will the need for ram cool?
So does this mean all of the ram I've got piled up in a box is not worthless anymore?
Small team, cheap electricity, very efficient models. Many western companies operate at a loss to gain market share. Why can't the Chinese?
I remember playing around with Writesonic in my days of spammy seo tactics (some of my products weren't allowed on marketplaces & advertising platforms due to hazmat products so..). Often times I would see my own product descriptions nearly verbatim in the output.
100% creators should get compensated by ai platforms for their work.
Further, I can see a day where someone like Reddit will close off or license their data to llms. No doubt they are losing traffic right now.
Is 100+ FPE the new normal?
I had a free 3 month trial I just terminated. I deemed it too expensive.
Does Claude turn out to be what 'Quantum' was promised; crack bitcoin? This could be fun.
I think it would be interesting, once the dust has settled, to do a compare with a less expensive model (time, capital, compute) such as deepseek 4.
looks nice but, no thanks
My free trial ends this week, which i'm obviously canceling.
Ah yes the classic pump. Has a 3x parabolic move ever maintained price over extended periods of time?
My AI use is significantly down. I'm sick of following Chat GPT "advise" only to learn how egregiously incorrect it is. Don't ask for DMV advice on registering an out of state car!
It would be nice to kick google to the curb. I hope this product matures.
HIMS has known this was coming for a very long time. How much has the CEO cashed out with ? I think i saw 133 million. Sounds criminal. Where is the Occupy Wall Street movement when shit like this happens?
