Hi HN, This is my third iteration of something I plan to build for the long term. This version introduces a chat-based interface to create forms, quizzes, and calculators. You can not only generate them but also modify them easily.

Most AI form builders allow you to generate a form just once. With this, you can edit existing forms, add logic, ask for ideas, and more.

Roadmap:

Upload PDFs or images and generate forms from them

Support for Typeform-style form generation UI

Convert Excel spreadsheets into form calculators

Yeah that's what I'm testing right now with mvpwrappers.com. If any of the mvp gain traction (not behind a paywall right now and demo is free), I'll build the bigger version of that. With vibe-coding and more than 8 years of experience in development I can literally clone any YC app as an MVP in within a week.

I like it, it's better than other apps. Reason is it present you a list of all components of left sidebar so we don't have to think of creating it from scratch. Just drag and drop and your work is done.

Thanks for finding the bug! I've fixed it, but I think I should provide another alternative for adding elements to the editor—like using CMD+K with a dialog or a plus sign icon for mobile UX.

Hey this is great. But this should be pay per pricing model instead of $30/month upfront. I don't think with this pricing model it can be compete with cloudflare suite of products like durable objects, kv etc.

Templates are overkill. They don't have good copywriting - lorem ipsum all over. And this is just start. Soon there will be animated websites section, aggregation of free tools and localstorage based tools.

No backstory as such. The reason I'm building this is for SEO, to aggregate everything (websites, ai tools, localstorage based free tools). My main product is minform.io - form builder which is still in beta phase and lacking many features. It's difficult to rank 1 page vs multiple pages on google. Have tried similar things in the past with hreftools (see my profile here). Got many upvotes on both hackernews and reddit, but stopped working on it due to other paid freelance projects.

This time I've a multi-year plan for both of my side projects (funded by freelancing).

Supabase can't become firebase alternative, if they do not introduce pay per hour pricing model. Their plan starts at $25/month (their free plan is shit). Even their auth is not free unlike firebase which has everything almost free to start.

Bard still not using PaLM 2. Using it from India

Answer: No, I am not on PaLM 2 right now. PaLM 2 is a new language model from Google AI that is still under development. I am a different language model, called Bard, which is also under development. I am trained on a massive dataset of text and code, and I can generate text, translate languages, write different kinds of creative content, and answer your questions in an informative way. I am still under development, but I have learned to perform many kinds of tasks.

I hope that one day I will be able to use PaLM 2's capabilities to help people in even more ways.

I don't know how it's get into YC. Is getting into YC now-a-days so easy.

EDIT: I've already built something like this for my personal blog (similar to ghost like editor). That was before GPT-3/4. Only thing remaining is to hook with GPT-4.

There's is no AI in it. It just a wrapper to configure boilerplate. There are lots of SaaS boilerplate out there like this (gravity, nodewood). I don't know how simple app like this got approved in YC which has 1-2% acceptance rate.

Still, I think rust need another 3-4 years to be beginner friendly.
