Hi.
1. This isn't the place for technical support on something that you can go to Apple to find out.
2. Search for it - https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT202796
Not code so it doesn't count but a command.
Dos: "attrib," Will strip all attributes from all files in a directory. Very easy to run accidentally.
Has a partner though "dir," Show all files even hidden. Very berry handy.
Thanks for your comments. The post wasn't written as a beg for money. It's more of a commentary of how I feel about all the startup advice. I fully understand a working product backed by good research is the ticket to get in the door.
fixed. Thanks for reading..
I like the idea. The use of Bootstrap is a good idea.
One suggestion for feedback would be to seed some of the subjects with your own suggestions. Looks fine in Firefox to me.
I like it. A few suggestions though:
1) Warn people that they will need to login to Twitter to use the service. If my timeline is public, why do I need to provide my twitter credentials? Shouldn't my username be enough
2) Don't load so many stories at once. Maybe 20 or 30 at a time or for the last week, etc...
Anyway, thoughts in the first 30 seconds of use.
Good luck and keep us posted,
I really like the idea but I think your greatest challenge will ensuring the site doesn't get spammed by false reviews.
I have nothing to add as far as a solution goes but I can say that when I see reviews or testimonials the first thing I do is try and verify the online presence of the poster. Whenever I see a link to LinkedIN it shows me that at least there is a real person here who I can check out.
If you can solve that problem without involving Facebook I'll signup. Good luck.
Tried the site. Made two Pages. Had some interesting things happen. Love it. Would like to shamelessly plug my test - faqme.com/howto
Ideas should be tested in the wild.
You know, all up, I like the site.
I think the MOST obvious use is for Mobile App designers that don't want to deal with web hosting in the short term.
I really like the simple prettiness of the stats page. Isn't recognising AtomicWeb or Safari from the Ipad though.
I've been trying it out: (warning shameless promotion) http://faqme.com/howto http://faqme.com/earthshout
Thanks for putting the site out there Pud and I am happy to write your FAQME FAQ's...
PS: "an FAQ". You write it like you would say it out loud. Also, first post.... not sure about this news editor....
