I'm no pro Elon, but this stock went from 150 to 200, and there was no news on HN. Now it dipped from 150 to 136 and suddenly it's on HN front page. The headline should be: "Traders trading".

I'm amused that hacker news crowd finds this front page worthy.

There are in betweens of an iphone and analog camera. You can use a digital camera with an SD card that you plug into a laptop that never connects to internet.

If I was signal CEO I would have self hosted years ago! There's many reasons for signal to be not on AWS.

It sucks that Google is probably using OSM data to check what they are missing and adding it to their maps, but we can't do vice versa. OSM should change their license to something like if you use our data, you have to make yours open as well.

The site has a "report" feature. Maybe at some point I'll integrated openrouter to automatically flag problematic tiles.

Yes, so basically the earth is divided into almost 510 million "blocks" or "tiles". You can "claim" one block every hour. Or you can pay to buy one block for $1.

They just want more content. They don't care about quality - the algorithm does a good job of sifting through all the content to find the good quality content. The definition of good quality being something that generates more money and keeps more eyes fixed to the screen!
