This is exactly the problem that I seem to have. I'm looking for a way to turn that unfocused research into something productive, and it's a tough problem to solve.

Very interesting... what about more tacit knowledge (ideas, advice, etc)?

How do you retain/go back to those ideas? Or do you at all?

How do you go back to your tactics/strategy notes? For me, I never stumble across old ideas when they would actually be relevant, but systemic review of these ideas seems like a big hassle.

How exactly do you "retain"? Do you memorize or do you have a way of going back to notes efficiently?

Does anybody think it would be a good idea to use AI to automate reminders of the information when it becomes relevant? How would something like that be implemented?

My budget won't allow me to get an i7 processor unfortunately, unless I limit myself to only 8gb ram (vs 16 with the i5).

As a developer myself, I know it's hard to put a timetable on these kinds of things. That said, do you have a vague idea of when this is going to be released?

I'm on a Debate team, and this would be an awesome tool to collaborate on cases. I would use Github for it, but my team is not too tech savvy.

Oh, and is this going to be open source? I'd love to help out with this project.

Two things:

1) Battery killer, right? 2) My phone is usually in my pocket... is it going to catch things that are, I don't know, 5 feet away if it's in my pocket?

Not problems so to say.

I don't want to have to work around a framework or have one get in the way. I would rather redo the work, knowing 100% what every line of code in my app is doing. Plus, large frameworks like Django don't even look like Python at times.
