It's why big oil loves it: We need to do nothing now because nuclear is coming "soon"

Show us just a single NPP that is properly insured
I think it might be this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJliQ2fsiUA
I'd expect the main advantages to be portability and maintainability?
I wonder if it theoretically could (or already does) benefit from something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCg3aXn5F3M
I was assuming it's something similar to PL/0 but the grammar looks quite extensive...
Why do so many drivers kill pedestrians?
Passive voice and saying that they are killed by cars is part oft the problem: https://visionzeroreporting.com/
Ah, now I am glad I stuck with DSSSL :)
I am not arguing against cars. I am just arguing against the "right" to pollute the environment without taking responsibility for adequate cleanup.
Why do we still allow drivers to externalize most of the costs associated with cars? There is existing technology to extract co2 from the atmosphere, and the current cost of this should be the free market-based price for co2 emissions.
Why not think bigger? https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1hwChHpCfdV23GhvcZCun...
One "trick" that helped me some times: If you don't make progress with a task, count breaking it down into subtasks as an accomplishment
I wonder if one of the Anberinc (or similar) devices with single-purpose software would be an option for people shy of going into hardware...
What would Reagan say to this?
I suppose the bandwidth is not the bottleneck currently but mainly the "switching capacity" for this kind of application?
Yeah I was going to write UDP first but then thought it might be a worse analogy because of that.
So what I was trying to say is: Why can't shipping containers be more "automatically" routed over rail? Perhaps fully automatic rail car couplers would be more helpful in general than yet another gadgetbahn?
Doesn't seem to go anywhere in the end: https://www.blick.ch/wirtschaft/cargo-sous-terrain-entlaesst...
Looks like that particular Gadgetbahn is not going to go anywhere: https://www.blick.ch/wirtschaft/cargo-sous-terrain-entlaesst...
I wish we had some form of "TCP/IP" over rail, where the "packets" are containers or pallets...
I didn't manage to build any Games with it, but I think it helped me to read Postscript files a few years later :)
The intended outcome of so-called "road safety" campaigns, always addressing the victims instead of drivers
Philips Briliance BDM4350UC
I have been doing this for years without any additional software: just make sure your monitor goes to blank when locking the screen:
1. lock screen
2. Switch USB switch to the other source
3. Press space to activate the other PC
4. Monitor should automatically sitch to the "new" active source.
My bets are on Wendelstein 7-X / Stellarators
I am working on a side project related to dataflow and would like to see some input. Is there a simple way to get into contact?
I think it's pretty common to have "Cat X" printed on ethernet cables... Perhaps the same advanced technology could be applied for HDMI and USB :)
I am happy to give 2^20! Oh wait it's not xor?
I wish there would be a "lower level" language all CSS and HTML could be translated to, so both levels could have a "reasonable" formal specification...
How about repairing the damage done by polluting the world with hydrocarbons and combustion products?
Isn't Norway a bit hypocritical: Amass wealth from providing fossils to other countries polluting the world, then be super environmental locally? Sure, still miles better than most of the other fossil rich countries, but the Netherlands for instance are actively shutting down their gas fields if I am informed correctly..
