I stopped using MaxCDN since a website I took offline months earlier suddenly achieved "bandwidth overage" according to them, and my credit card was charged.

Recently, they advertised they now provide server logs to prove usage, but I'm done with them.

Do you see what you're doing here? Smoking is at the center of your universe. There is NO WAY you will quit an addiction like smoking until you refuse to even acknowledge its existence.

Get rid of your thinking first, then you'll easily get rid of the addiction.

FYI: I smoked for 10 years before I quit. That was 10 years ago.

As I commented earlier, I ALWAYS give and I NEVER judge. I do this because I'm a Latter-Day Saint[1] and God explicitly spells out in the Book of Mormon[2] how we should respond in such a situation:

I use Deezer (a music subscription service) and I get serious usage out of it. Sure, I don't own music anymore, but that's because it seems so unnecessary.

Something similar happened to me recently. A Yahoo / rocketmail account I had for over 10 years was suddenly closed. The reason was I hadn't used it for awhile (about six months or so).

The thing is I used to pay for the premium version of Yahoo mail, I bought domains from them, I had a paid Flickr account before - and they shut it all down without warning.

Losing that Flickr account hurt the most. Lots of saved images were lost.

I'm working on a similar idea which I hope to launch in a week of so. It's not the same, but dang, it's in the ballpark.

In Genesis 2:18 God says He will make Adam an ezer kenegdo (Hebrew). In the context of subduing the earth (Gen 1:28) ezer kenegdo means "strategic ally". An equal to man in every way, ordained with the power to give life. Without the woman, human life could not exist.

The woman was God's final creation. One could convincingly argue He saved the best for last.

These typical ads portrait women as play-things to be gawked at rather than someone's daughter, wife and another human being. And they are plain dumb.

But it's so prevalent nowadays that it hardly registers in a conscious way, and I think that's the problem.

As an LDS Christian I go to church and won't watch R rated movies, but even I feel like I've become numb to this kind of objectification of women. And I think it's a serious, serious problem in this society.

I got a laugh from the name Stack Fu, but I'm laughing with the OP, because I've picked less than optimal names myself.

For me, it all depends on how big the project is. If it would be faster for me to build an MVP than get convincing user validation, I'll build it. The MVP can test my hypothesis.

But there are no easy answers. You could do user validation up the wazoo and still fail.

I suggest looking at other indicators (interest level, budget) or do a weighted pros and cons list.
