In various industries, colors are used to differentiate between various voltages so it's obvious whether you're working with high voltage, low voltage, etc. so you can determine the necessary precautions for whatever you're dealing with (and some will also make the connectors incompatible so you can't accidentally join high and low voltage sets of wiring). I'm not super familiar with the automotive side, but I believe they use orange for high voltage and light blue for 48v.

Speaking of reference frames, I deal with quite a few for Earth-bound things, and the primary ones we use are ECEF (Earth-Centered, Earth-Fixed) and ECI (Earth-Centered, Inertial), which then we will often move to a relative local frame for whatever object matters.

Is the equivalent set available for Martian Nav (MCMF/MCI, I guess), or do you have different/specialized/etc. frames based on something unique to Mars.

Raspberry PIs have had a similar thing with VC-1 and MPEG-2 decoding requiring a small fee for about a decade now. In this case, to cover the patent licensing cost so as to not add it into the base hardware, but paying a fee to unlock features resident in the hardware is not new in computing. (I realize there are likely other/older ones I'm sure, but that was the first in my mind)

Which is to say, a federal judge has ruled that it was inaccurate, and he knows it was inaccurate.

When was that? KY requires a road test now. Also, it requires you to prove KY residency. I'm surprised people were able to get KY licenses without being residents before.

So, what I did for a similar use case:

-Buy domain from name cheap

-Setup email forwarding to my gmail account with namecheap

-Setup gmail to optionally send as dtparr@domain.name (I forget the steps, but I think it's under settings -> accounts)

So although the email comes to/from my custom domain, gmail is the real sender so I've not had any trouble with delivery (that I've noticed, at least)

You're not throwing the ball high enough in a car that the difference in radius from the center of the Earth makes a difference that you can detect.

For objects above the earth's surface, the radius of the 'orbit' around the center of earth increases, and thus the 'forward' component of the velocity has to increase in order to stay over the same point on the earth. If you shoot something high enough straight up, it will land to the West of the point it was launched from. (This does ignore effects of wind and such, but I believe so did your argument).
