This is a pretty gross oversimplification and it's also a mischaracterization to say it's "a more widely used and active version". I wouldn't even put it in the same catagory as traditional lisps since those will compile down to executables and clojure run in the JVM

This was actually very popular with offshoring and the results spoke for themselves. I made a lot of money cleaning up those dumpster fires and it's hard for me to not encourage more of it.

Also, for context, my question was posed because the idea of "particle number" as well as "quantum states of particles (which are countable) represented in a Fock space" and in general the idea of particles are, like, page 2 of any QFT textbook. It doesn't approximate anything in the theory. Creation and annihilation of particles (and hence the well-defined concept of a particle) is fundamental to the construction of the theory itself, perturbative or not.

Maybe your judgement about your developer friends or your trust of in the ability of the industry to evaluate developers is wrong.

I think it's unfair to call Ladybird vaporware this early. There's nothing suspicious about their development schedule for the scope of the thing they're trying to build.

I agree I don't think it should be in the alternative browser discussion until they do produce something, however.

Mozilla is a bad organization in every sense, a bad steward of Firefox, and the best thing that could happen is they do have their funding cut, they go out of business forever, and Firefox finds a good home chosen by the community.

This is not a generally true statement, particularly with anything involving UI. WPF or anything modern WinForms are not supported. MAUI has no official Linux support.
